I'm really confused now.

This player is the player that I have been referring to as Player X from a very early stage and is great.
However some posters are referring to him as [post moderated].

Those posters who are referring to him as [post moderated] appear to be referring to a different player as Player X, for whom I've been using the notation Player F'. Player F' is not the same as Player F, who now appears to be staying with his current club.

Also to confuse matters further Journalist Z has also been referred to as Journalist J, unless the poster is referring to a different journalist in which case I apologise.

Hope that's clear.

This'll be a very good signing if it happens - although I think I'll wait until I see it on the official site before I get too excited. Anyone have any idea when it's likely to be announced? (Mostly so I know when to assume that it's not going to happen after all.)

If he does sign then we'll have replaced all of the first team players who've left over the summer (not counting loanees) with people who, in my opinion, are better than them (Keates with the new guy, Westwood (and Pead) with Weston - a proper right back, Sam with Mooney, Wright with Hall, Bedeau with nobody - less money for the same contribution) plus we've got in Carneiro and Sonner to add cover in areas we were a little short of numbers in last season (and our fringe players are a year older). I'd like to see another striker come in between now and deadline day (else I think we'll need to bring in several on loan over the season again) but I'd certainly have been happy with the squad we've got now (including the new guy) if I'd been offered it in the middle of May.
