Summer Transfer Rumours 2012

Are they posting him to Bescot then?

Paul Taylor regularly posted foreign trialists to Bescot in the 90s after customs got wise to the false compartment in the boot of his Ford Scorpio.

This stopped when two Gambian midfielders tragically exploded at Birmingham sorting office in 1999.

Yes, not forgetting when Darko Mavrak fell off the underside of a lorry as it bounced over the M5 interchange.

I wonder if anyone has a copy of the season ticket flyer with "Ledesma is back" on it? That makes interesting reading now.

Personally, I doubt we'll sign him back, there's plenty of clubs at this level that could offer him first team football.

Lovely stuff.

Good signing, just shows someone who's right 99% of the time, can be wrong sometimes.

Ah, the Saarland defence. When you're wrong, pretend you were only playing the know-it-all as a brilliant and hysterical wind-up.

You were always going to be proved wrong on this one, too much concrete evidence on Twitter and the Stoke forum, was 99% sure he'd be singing today, last night.

Nope, no wind up - I honestly couldn't see it happening, given past experience, we've rarely gone for long-term loans, and Flo seemed a bit too good for us, so all my instincts were pointing towards it being merely a rumour.

It wasn't deleted, it was moved to transfer rumours for being too vague and not having any official links. A bit like this one.

Don't give up hope yet Phil. Perhaps tomorrow morning the club will announce that both parties have mutually agreed to cancel the loan agreement. Flo gets a couple of hundred quid in his back pocket for his troubles, Sjoke get to have his name circulated and Gamble gets an easy ride tonight.

It's all adding up to something strange :?

People still dont see the cunning use of timing by the club.

It's a shame they cant market the club half as well as they can time the release of good news!

Good signing this whenever it was made, apparently one coming up in a bit as well.

It wasn't deleted, it was moved to transfer rumours for being too vague and not having any official links. A bit like this one.

Young Manchester City prospect Reece Wabara is close to signing on a season long loan to League 1 side Walsall, to aid his development after finding chances limited in Manchester. Wabara progressed through the youth set up at Walsall, before moving to Manchester City.

You can't just make a thread saying 'something is about to happen' without naming any names or posting any links.
