Huddersfield have released their centre back Nathan Clarke, always been a solid back up to Peter Clarke for them and if Smith dont sign we've got one proper centre back in Butler. There's no chance we'l get Roberts, he's on 5k+ a week up there and still fancies himself. Swindon or Notts County wouldn't surprise me for them.

Dont think we will be signing another centre back.

He was a funny player though, dreadful one minute and unstoppable the next.

Elford Aliiyu has been released too though, hes more realistic...

Considering that it was shared on another thread that he had numerous 2 year deals offered, the fact he has signed a one year deal with us must probably mean that Jimmy isn't going to accept his contract offer and he knows he'll be number one.

He would jump at the chance to sign for us. He's not just a right back, he's very versatile. Can play at right full back, centre-half and central midfield.

it was me jolly who said numerous clubs offered two years and frown what I've heard today from a player is that groffy had the two year deals offered elsewhere but not number one where he was offered a one year deal here but defiantly first choice
