According to the BBC, John Rooney, Macclesfield's 19 years old striker and brother of Wayne, has turned down the contract he has been offered and is currently in training with a League 1 club.

In view of the Jonny Brain connection, could it be Walsall?

no the one on the end in the gallery pics , 4 keepers two lads Brain and the guy with facial hair , got 26 on his sweat shirt , the coloured lad is the youth keeper, the tall one must be Brain {light hair }

Hes got the beard but his hair has changed. Hutch did say he wanted someone 20-21, the fella in the pic is older than that.

it says on the E&S site that the picture is of jonny brain which is obvious and walsall acadamy players. but itsobvious that the guy with the beard is not in the acadamy so im guessing hes the other keeper that hutchings said he was looking for. Probably find out who he is as soon as he signs
