This isn’t good if it stays the same.
We’ll be going into next weeks game with Northampton suddenly winning 2 on the bounce (after not winning at all in the previous 10) and they’ll have the added incentive that beating us will put them on the same points as us... although our GD is far better.

At half time we are 1 place (and 2 points) above the dreaded line. Oldham, Northampton, Dongles and Bury are below us......

Sounds a bit grim.
We need a magical Walsall freak result.

I concur.
And I'm sure Scott would mostly be in agreement also.

Seem to remember someone, don't know who, (me) stupidly predicted pre season that this squad would do quite well...............how wrong could he have been.
Now that we ARE actually in a relegation battle, I've never been so nervous.
Bad day for us today, if Scunny do get a goal we ARE in deep dodo's cus Northampton will win next Saturday, without doubt, then we will have to rely on 2 more away fixtures, both of which we usually lose even with a half decent squad. :(

That goal puts us level with Oldham Athletic disputing either side of the line. Our goal difference is 2 better than theirs.......

Sorry to disagree again but we have not capitulated. They have been playing better but again no final touch to make it count.

How can we rely on ANY final touches when all we have up front is Bakayoko?

Seen as many of us wrote this game off as a defeat we should be cautious about writing ourselves off - fans sound like they've been fantastic today, we'll done to them.

Pity the team couldn't match their enthusiasm!
