What does Deano say to them at half time? First Oldham. Now this.

The way it's going we might get beat, that would be a disaster. Very nervous, they seem all over us, one way traffic, can our colander defence hold out?

Very disappointed with Posh, losing at home to Rochdale, that's put us straight back into the melting pot.
Only ourselves to blame, must have been a very poor showing by us in the second half.

Tuesday. But it's each team's game in hand, so at least one of them is gaining (further) on us before next Saturday.

One if not both will drop points though....
Personally hope for Dale to win that. Said for weeks they're not a bottom 4 team but cup run distracted things.
Anyway this second half has been a disaster. Why is Guthrie risking things in the last minute?!!!

Bit of a reality check for people I'm afraid.
Dean Keates did not react to the Wombles tactical change to 3-5-2 at half time and that changed everything.
Defeat is a disaster.
Even with a draw you're only a point away then from making 50 points and feeling safe.
Lots of work to do, defence fell apart after Fitzwater went off injured. Hopefully that isn't serious.

Shame it was Roberts that gave away the penalty, but hey your full of facts and shite.

Were gone, this was a disaster, we have to hope that Northampton have a stinker, otherwise we are doomed to 4th Division rubbish......at least we won't get Luwan Tarn away in the first match!
Very disappointing indeed 2-0 up and lose 3-2 to a penalty 6 minutes into injury time it just stinks of incompetence.

Disastrous. Apparently only turning up for one half is still a holdover from the Whitney days.

Just calculated that we're in the last safe place and Rochdale are 3 points behind with a game in hand and better goal difference ... hopefully my maths is just being poor and it's simply a bad dream.

Oldham's last five:
Away to Rochdale
Away to Wimbledon
Home to SOuthend
Home to Doncaster
Away to Northampton
Think they'll lose to Rochdale but can also see them getting two wins from that.
Looking like whoever dosen't beat Northampton will get relegated.

Looked like we got done by a dodgy penalty at the end but we brought it on ourselves with that atrocious 2nd half performance.
We came out with an attitude that said “job done” and got taught a lesson.
We’ve got a couple of good players but the majority of the team is full of lazy, half arsed bottle jobs.

Not surprising considering it’s still Baldy’s team!

Time for the Keates spunkfest to end. Pathetic. We need to react to this. If not we’re down.

We deserved nothing from that. Clueless hoofball football after a fine opening 10 minutes and a superb individual goal from Ngoy. Can't say anything else - simply stunned at the ineptitude of the second half. How far we have fallen in two years.

Few brief points
1. Their second goal was great - however it outlined the awful defensive performance in that second half.
2. Kory Roberts - oh my god.

It’s happening. I said last week that our “loyal” fan base that we’re willing to give Keates time and said things like “it’s Whitney’s team he’s struggling with and he should get a chance even if we go down” would soon show their true colours.
Seems to be getting an awful lot of criticism for this one.

Still coming to terms with that second half performance.
Possibly the worst 45 minutes I have ever seen in over 45 years of support.
A complete and utter capitulation.
It all started with that idiot Devlin giving away a stupid penalty.

That excuse for a ref was the same barclays (according to Vital Walsall) who gave Bury 3(?) penalties away on the first day of the season. Too far away to tell in the blue pop stand, but Keates sounded well fudge off with the decision for the winner. Is 5 penalties in two games a record for a ref a record?
Well deserved defeat however. Thanks Bonser for retaining that clueless Scunthorpe until it was too late to strengthen the squad. A "defence" of the worse full back pairing I can remember, a mediocre 4th division clogger and a child with dreadlocks is probably not good enough to keep us in the 4th division let alone in the 3rd. fudge hell, I seriously hate that parasitical Scunthorpe who has drained the life out of my club with his £400k a year legal robbery.
