Quite remarkable they haven't included the best save Roberts made. Must have had some Muppet at sky putting it together.

I’d have taken that before kick off.

Happy with that. A point away is a point gained, not two lost.

Played well first half apart from their goal, a tackle should have gone in.
Second half it was almost entirely backs against the wall but we got the job done thanks to some good blocks flying in and Robbo being the second coming.
It was cold as fudge as usual.
Robbo MOTM, Devlin was also fantastic and had a lot of passion and energy that also lifted the fans too, what a bloke. He did something I haven't seen much all season when he started to shout at Shaibu for not coming back, leadership and holding others accountable.

Couldn't agree more. Roberts was superb in the 2nd half. How long a contract is he on? Extend it! I thought Devlin did really well too and showed such passion too.
It was a pity Ngoy did not do better with his chances especially the first one and I don't know how near Bakayoko was to getting to the ball late in the 2nd half but given the battering we took I was very happy with a point.
And yes it was freezing!

I'll take 4 points from the last two matches, however we got them.
Looking forward to Saturday a bit more now!

Where did that wind come from... ? Not the best playing conditions but a hard fought point well earned. One we probably wouldn't have got under the old regime

Was that cold or was that cold? The locals must go to Greenland for their hols to get some warmth! Fudge freezing.
I am pleased that we got the point, very welcome. What was that wasted free kick by Dobson all about? Was he waiting for godly intervention?
Backs to the wall second half, but with Devlin in a 'hang on in there mood' and Roberts maintaining a superb god like ability, nobody was going to get another goal in 'that' match.
Our problem is that we have no attack whatsoever. You cannot win matches not being able to score cus there is no one up there.
Regrettably have to admit that Kinsella had a reasonable game, Dobson & Morris had mares, constantly giving the ball away which made it difficult to stem Oldham's constant attacks.
I would take that midget No.29 for our side anyday, he ran the show for most of the match, a real menace, we couldn't get near him.
We missed Ozzy for some creativity in midfield, just hoof and pray, and with Bakayokonoshow up front that was a disaster. The Lad has proved that he will NEVER make it, get rid in the summer, spend his salary on a striker, or indeed anyone that can tackle/retain a ball/shoot. He was just a player in a red shirt contributing zilch.
However I will take a point, well done most of the lads, well earned indeed.
Great attendance, well supported and vocal. well done to you all...seemed like the old days again.

Enjoyed that in a perverse way
Could of been 2-3 up in the first half but poor finishing, gave a stupid goal away just before half time, from that point we clung on with our fingernails
They battered us, we couldn't keep the ball, but we defended resolutely, Robbo made a number of great saves but one in particular was a worldly
Devlin is machine and both center halfs looked solid, Leahy was also much improved
Morris needs to man up and stop being eased off the ball and ducking challenges. Another point closer to survival

Thanks for the reports from those who went which add a little more to the WM commentary I heard. AM why do yo have to spoil it though by saying. "regrettably I have to admit Kinsella had a reasonable game". You should be pleased for the lad...he is fighting for a career in this game and I wish him well.

June 2020. I doubt he will agree to extend it, cause he wants to try at higher level. It would be strange, if not.

This is an Oldham supporter's vlog.
Not bad coverage of the match and inparticular Roberts 2nd half display.

I made a save like that once in a 6 a side league game. It's just a shame I was actually a defender.

Only saying that he had a good game and I'm not a great fan of his, so credit where due!
Incidentally, in your 2018/2019 squad post, you have more or less written of Kinsella, Flanagan & Bakayoko as a drain on our resources! Make your mind up?

I have made mind up....Kinsella has a lot to do to convince me that he should see out his contract but that doesn't mean I don't wish him well and hope he proves me wrong.

Me too my friend, but I think Bakayoko & Flanagan are lost causes.
