Re: Shrewsbury Town (A) 10th Mar, 3pm
Looks like another Rotherscum result in the offing, and it's Wigan coming up.....................sort of fills ya with so much confidence..............................
Will our puppet Board EVER consider asking Whiney to fall on his sword? A new face is desperately required to save us from the humiliation of relegation at this rate.
Do Walsall actually have forwards? Every attempt, every shot, is half backs/full backs, where are Ngoy and the fabulous Bakayoko?

I think I’m right in thinking that JWs first game ‘in charge’ was this fixture 2 seasons ago after Dean left us?
He got a warm ovation at the end of the game and I sincerely hope we pull this one round otherwise he’ll get a very different reaction at FT...

How many Saddlers there?
I saw they said yesterday that around 900 tickets been sold so shud be well over 1k I guess
1st Sloppies away fixture I’ve missed for many years (let’s hope they turn it round so I can regret it!)

It sounds like we're coming back into the game yet could concede at anytime...

Re: Shrewsbury Town (A) 10th Mar, 3pm
Oldham seemed to have slipped back into their old ways again, Bury are marmalising 'em, think they have had 13/14 shots to Oldham's 2, could be a good omen for our survival hopes!
Still waiting to hear one mention of Bakayoko by the BBC............is he actually ON the pitch?

On a more positive note Oldham, Wigan & Scunthorpe all let 2 goals in during the first half and we only let one in. :D

As well documented on here ‘most weeks’ - our defence just can’t hold attacking teams at bay....
We are gonna need a brutally attack based 45 minutes to get anything out of this one.. UTS

I agree regarding the attack, they don't let many goals in and will probably try and defend the 1-0. We should be going 3 - 4 - 3 and using all 3 strikers

There are fake news and this is probably fake loan. Still injured, when he got fit, it could be start of April. He won't stay at WFC, so why bother. And proposed loan from Legia (mid January they wanted to help him, give him chance to play few adult games, gain some match experience and confidence) hit a block. Arsenal wanted Legia to pay his full contract and it is probably 12-13k per week. Way too much.

No team changes to start the 2nd half........
A Walsall win is currently 31/1
Walsall yellow card, 49 min ........ (Chambers) :(
Wigan Athletic 2 Scunthorpe Utd 3
Fleetwood Town 1 Plymouth Argyle 1

970 Saddlers in a decent crowd of 7,633.
If the circumstances had been reversed they would have brought 500, so not bad from us.

They are but they mostly have game/s in hand on us so it’s far too uncomfortable for me.....

A surprise, but 3-0 win over us could just start a run to safety for them.
