Sorry Welsh - I’d mentioned both of those events and hadn’t noticed you’d predictably beaten me to it!

Never ever ever worry about that ....... :D I'm worried about the amount of added time for this game, what with a couple of injury breaks and substitutions...

Looking as if we might just fumble our way to grasping a defeat from the hands of a certain win. :(
Keep 'em out me babbies!!

*look at league 1 table expecting Pompey to be second or something.*

*Portsmouth grand total of 4 points clear of Walsall.*

Not like AM to be OTT or anything.

Good win anyway that. Moving well clear of bottom 4.

Great news indeed, we are almost mid table! It's a miracle. Don't care what happens now, just can't wait to get Rothrum at home and get 'em back for that right hammerin they inflicted on us!

Well, definitely a good win by the sounds of it!!

Looking at the table that's left us in quite an interesting position with one game more to play over some of our counterparts!

Fingers crossed, we can capitalize on that game and the table will be looking a lot lot healthier :D

Bravo!

Interesting point about Rotherham Utd - they're in free-fall at the moment. In mid-October they were comfortably in the play-off zone (4th place) and now they are 12th in the table, just a point above us. From their most recent 6 games they've managed to get a total of 2 points.

Only sayin, a footy team with great support, almost certain relegation candidates earlier on in the season, are now just under the play off position, and it seemed to happen without anyone noticing. However, it looks as if the top 6 are pulling away from the rest of us 'also ran's'.

Interesting point there Enniskillen - no doubt a tad sarcastic (not unjustified either) but one to ponder!

'also ran's' - we have only just started running, we were hoofing it before.

Funny what happens when you stick with a winning team.

Great result, maybe he’s actually learning. Fair play.

Any reports of a good defensive performance are vastly over exaggerated

We were on the back foot from the moment we scored the second goal, and they tore us apart pretty much at will.

It was only thanks to a healthy slice of luck, some poor finishing, a lot of penalty box pinball and one or two last ditch challenges that we didn’t concede again.

Whitney’s celebration at the end was just cringeworthy - that was a skin of the teeth victory against a bottom 6 side - if that’s where we’ve set the bar for success and cause of raucous celebrations and final whistle bear hugs, I’m worried.

By all means celebrate a victory, but you’ve also got to admit we were second best for most of the game today - were it not for an error by their keeper, it would’ve been a different story

That must be one hell of a bug.
Normal people are over a bug within days, a week tops.
Missed at least 3 games now.
Or I am I just reading more into it than I should.

Balances out the Gillingham game then to spin it another way.

A "cringeworthy celebration' says a poster.....yet another crime committed by JW!!!!!! What the hell is the matter with some of our supporters? is he not supposed to celebrate when we win?
