Frankly it should be 2 - 2 but the performance has not been good enough. If we get anything out of this game it'll be harsh on Newport.
I'd take it though!!!

It's telling that before the ball was even taken back out the net I could hear "We want Whitney out."

Note the time and date, 1910, 04/11/2017 our season is over barring a relegation fight.

Out-thought and outmanoeuvred by an organised but mediocre tier 4 side.

So, if you are a ST holder, email Moles on Monday. We'll be around the bottom 4 by January with this clueless Scunthorpe in charge. If Bonser accepts this, he can **** ** **** before I renew my season ticket - slow down your asset stripping and invest in a competent manager (he gave him the 3 years!).

We shouldn't have to email them, they're a bunch of clueless idiots as well if they don't sack him tonight.

A great night for the people who love when we lose.
Absolutely shocking performance. The offside goal is not good enough. Even with that it’s only a draw against a league two team.

That's right, we only watched it to gloat. I hate it when we lose, but the sad thing about it is that it wasn't a shock.

Re: Newport County (A) F.A.Cup Nov 4th, 5.15pm
My goodness that was a fabulous cup run this year war it?
He has lost the players, he has deffo lost the fans, you could see even at the end the players heads had dropped into accepting defeat against a very average 4th Division outfit.
Very sad day in our history, we have certainly had worse defeats in the cup, but this display was utterly intolerable, no passion, no desire, no organisation, but at least his son (sorry this decent lad) can ACTUALLY score goals! Hoorah!!
If the board do not act on Monday then they know where most of our ex supporters will be on Saturday afternoons from now on, and it certainly won't be waiting in a traffic queue after another defeat at the Bescot!

Re: Newport County (A) F.A.Cup Nov 4th, 5.15pm
He could've done stuff to change things aswell.
I would've put Baka on at half time, two upfront and something for their defence to deal with.
Even at 2-1 he still had a sub left, Jackson was warming up so surely in those circumstances you throw him on for a defender even if he's out of favour.
Looking at him at the final whistle I think he realises it's curtains for him.

Whatever. Some people love to watch a car crash. Reality of the situation. Same people that go missing or have full blown melt down when we win and can’t wait to post when we lose. Nothing remotely funny about losing or that performance or calling other supporters mouthbreathers. If that not you cool.
Shocking. He deserves to go. Nothing will probably change. Same time next week.

I don't think it is a case of loving it when we lose, i for one would have loved to progress to the next round, if only for the next manager to have something to go at, i think it's a case of when we do lose it's another nail in our clueless managers coffin, and if that means we get rid then so be it.El_Nombre wrote:A great night for the people who love when we lose.

Indeed, they deserved their win. So frustrating though as the only time we got in the box we scored. The players do not want to play for Whitney, but they should take some responsibility for that uninspired apology of a performance. Too many loan players who don't really care, Ismail/Donnellan can go back to Bury and WBA for me right away.
The position of the manager is simply untenable. A good club servant, but he has to go.

I mean you might as well say I’m glad we lost because now I’ll get what I want.
