0-1 at half-time. Might we see a change or two after the break, I wonder?
Walsall win currently available at 8/1
The early kick-off finished Northampton Town 1 Blackpool 0

Bet365 have shots on target as: Walsall 3 Southend 1.
It does sound an underwhelming performance though.

File it under feeble so far.
We have had two decent attacks in the first half.
Luckily, Southend haven’t had much of a clue either - their only meaningful attack (and goal) resulted from a pathetic gift by Wilson.

So the atmos might get a little toxic one presumes?
Im sure a few people will come on and say no need to panic when we draw again !!
I agree, we WILL probably (I hope we do) get an equaliser, those 'few people' will be rejoicing wholeheartedly at our ability to scrape a draw at home against one of the Divisions poorest away performers....you couldn't make it up!
Looks as if Baky has put in his usual inept performance again, subbed on 67 minutes, when WILL he realise what a waste of space the lad is, to be the automatic choice in EVERY line up....send him out on loan, let him get a few goals, build his confidence, we're sure there is a player in there somewhere.

Oh, and it was a double Walsall substitution ... Agyei now on for Bakayoko, so it's Agyei and Roberts up front (as requested)

Four points off the relegation zone....come on usual suspects...defend todays abomination why don't you, we need a laugh!
Methinks not many will make the journey to Newport somehow.

Speaking as one of the “usual suspects” I’m all for condemning this performance and I still think he should go, but what has 4 points off relegation got to do with anything? Last week we’d were four points off the play offs and that wasn’t enough to save him but being 4 points off relegation should be used as a reason to condemn him?

Find me any post where I have said Whitney deserves to stay in and I’ll accept that criticism...
Funny way to make excuses

Maybe the Newport game is now the clincher?
That said and on the basis of what we suspect is the security he seems to have from JB, even a defeat there might not shift him!
