Quite striking to compare that bench to the opening day at Bury.

That team is good enough to finish in the top six. Time to see if we have a manager to match.

Surely it was the manager who put the team together Scott.

This years certain double bet will come to fruition again it would appear, Wigan & Blackburn will leave this Division in their wake, without doubt, money always wins out, lets hope betfair payout!! :D

From the stats it looks as if we have not yet got out of our own half! A drubbing on the cards to bring us all down to earth?

Fleetwood Town 0 Oldham Athletic 1 (17 min)

Rotherham Utd 1 Bury 0

A win for Walsall is currently 9.5/1 with Betfair....

Nah, you've misread that...it's 99/1!

Interesting sideline, notice Grigg not in Wigan's starting line up again, local telly did a feature on Wigan players doing their all for the local community etc, guess who was the fan's No.1 favourite...you've guessed it.

A very unfortunate goal by the sound of it but these things happen from time to time. Another test of character meanwhile Candlin scores 3 for the youth team in a 7-0 win at Carlisle!!!

In our 'game' haha, it still looks like it's one way traffic, they will allow us to touch the ball every 6 minutes or so by current stats, not the overwhelmingly easy win that many predicted. Still it's early days yet, ya never know.......

Regrettably it still sounds like a practice match for Brizzle.................a shooting practice match, perhaps Whitney should take note?

30 minutes, and we have our second corner........

.... and a third, immediately after it.... neither of which came to anything.

Meanwhile Bury have equalised at Rotherham to make it 1-1

No doubt a by-product of that stupid bloody song that the whole world latched onto the summer before this, with no-one acknowledging or caring that it was actually started by Stevenage for Luke Freeman, for whom it made infinitely more creative sense, in context.

Much like in Walsall, I'd imagine the average resident of Wigan couldn't name five of their hometown club's players.

A bit like Walsall Borough residents....."Do we have a football team? Are they known as the Wolves perhaps?"

So, it looks like our 3-3 draw wasn't so bad a result after all?

Half time, 1-0 down, but we're still just in the top half of the table as things stand.

I can sense some very itchy bums on our substitutes bench ..... we have a desperate need for goals, and 2 recognised loan strikers available :?

Scored the goal quite coolly . Quite a phlegm-atic character apparently.

Had a look on one of the Bradford forums after the game (link was posted here) and was surprised how pessimistic their fans were being about the season, guess that's what annual play off defeats does.

They're still one of the stronger teams at this level. Romain Vincelot was a big miss in that game, excellent defensive midfielder at this level.

Unlucky to be 1 down, can't fault Guthrie it was chucking it down and it's just a slip.

Had two sitters since.

I take back what I said about keeping the faith with Baka though. He passed the ball to the keeper and has done sod all since.

So our tactical mastermind will put Jackson on!

The stats don't look good Brizzle 8 shots at goal, 3 on target.....us? 3 shots end of. Seems our age old problem still raising it's head despite the strikers bought in. Still we have to be able to get out of our own half to correct that, and we appear to be struggling to even do that! Would like to hear some comments from resident fans?

Well, here in HK it is wall-to-wall Premiershi*. I could watch any Premier League game live on the big screen. My heart isn't in that, though.

According to Bet365 it's 7 shots to 6. They've had more on target though.
