Re: Plymouth Argyle (H) League One, Sept 2nd 3pm
Jackson on the bench...already cautioned by the ref, caught off side between our sub goalie and two of our sub defenders!
Lets hope Baky can continue where he left off last week and show a little spirit that beholds a big strong lad.
Now Plymouth, can we get out of our half for a bit please? Weem supposed to be at home remember. after four minutes they've had two shots and a corner!

Plymouth certainly have more of the possession and corners but same number of shots and only Walsall on target. So Far :!:
Meanwhile Charlton have put 2 past Oldham and Oxford 1.0 up against MK.

Four consecutive goals from headers. When has that ever happened for WFC before?!

It's called STRIKERS!!!!!!!!!
Someone obviously handed the Walsall management a dictionary and they realised what the word meant in a football context....and suddenly we have blokes in football boots who know that you have to put that round leathery thingy inbetween those netty things!

One scored by a left-back, and one by your mate Bakayoko, so lets not shower all the credit on the cavalry.

Plymouth Sub | Grant OFF Songo'o ON
Half time still 1-0 up following a good defensive display and a further goal from a header and a cross from Leahy. :D

They seem to be getting a few chances from corners - reading the BBC live text.

Seems to be a bit of a one way only second half, the Pilgrims have now had 10 corners!
Seems we may have to hang on like grim death to keep this lead.

Really?! I do get excited when they send it over to Michelle. Great to have her at the Bezzla! Light years ahead of that bloody awful Bianca Westwood.

Sorry about that. How many have we given away so far this season? 4, is it?

Re: Plymouth Argyle (H) League One, Sept 2nd 3pm
credit where credits due a fabulous entertaining match with plenty of fingernail biting towards the end
I thought kory Roberts was man of the match by quite some way but they gave it ozzy for his wonderstrike winner
ref was an idiot and wanted to give them a free kick for anything and yet when we got fouled he played on.
wasn't a surprise when he awarded them a pen I'm sure he had them on his both teams to score accy.
was never a penalty and made it a nervy last 8 mins or so.
looks like whitney as an eye for a signing this season and fair play weve ground out another 3 points
just got to work out how to win away from home again and this could just be the start of one of those seasons

Re: Plymouth Argyle (H) League One, Sept 2nd 3pm
Excellent 1st half performance - should have been 2/3 goals clear by half time. Scrappy 2nd half, but Plymouth had simply taken us down to their level imo. Good thing we got that second as the useless turd of a self-important referee was determined to really fudge up something up which he did by awarding a "penalty".
Loved seeing us playing with two strikers - Bakayoko is so much better playing alongside another forward (I don't class Jackson as one personally). The new boy was a real threat and Whitney has a tough choice on who to play up front next week. Wilson/Guthrie were outstanding at the back and either should have been MOM rather than Ozzie (great goal, but bloody wasteful with some really good possession at times).
With the players that Whitney has brought in since the first day of the season, we've nothing to fear this season.
