Really enjoyed that yesterday. Even when it was (undeservedly) 3-0 we didn't give up and kept going.

The two wing-backs were the real stand outs for me, Leahy has improved so much since the first couple of games and his delivery is superb. Devlin is just brilliant, so much energy and seems to get better as the game goes on, I can't imagine how good he would've looked in the Scottish lower leagues...

The only criticism would be that Bakayoko looked a little isolated towards the end of the first half and I think it suits our style to start with the formation that we finished with, 3-4-1-2. That way we don't need to play through midfield as much and can get the ball forward quickly to our two strikers, Roberts looks an excellent singing aswell.

Fair play to Whitney, this is a team that everyone can get behind and it's not half exciting when we're attacking the Tile Choice and there's crosses, headers, long-throws and tackles flying about. Genuinely looking forward to the Plymouth game now!

Donnellan, Kinsella (Ireland U21), T. Roberts (Wales U21), Kouhyar (Afghanistan) and Jackson (Canada).

Morris really has gone backwards.... The (most of) second half team should be the starting 11 (aftert the international break)

REAL fighting spirit, when was the last time we saw THAT from a Walsall side?

What? Against Oldham............? are they not everyone's whipping boys, and we managed to come back from 1-0 down (at home)? Bradford will be there or there abouts come the end of this season, so yesterday's comeback was thoroughly impressive and shocked their expectant travelling army of supporters.

I thought we showed that at Portsmouth to be fair.
We were only denied a win by a rather soft penalty.
