N -KOREA -USA
well the heat is being turned up a bit on the 1 side u got small round tin pot leader with finger on the button and on the other side u got a tall leader with a funny hair do he also has his finger on the button ( but at least he has joint chiefs ) were the other shoots his jokeing a side not many people know this but the war in korea never ended just cease fire. And was only time the un showed some balls but that was because the ussr rep at the un didn't turn up to veto it so the uk and other nations went there under the un flag.

It's an interesting situation.
China are nervous because if N Korea falls then they have the prospect of the US on their borders.
Really N Korea should have been dealt with years ago - same as Russia - but the presidents never had the gonads so it's coming to a head now.
There would be plans in place by the US obviously for every situation.
But how can they be fully sure of N Korea's capabilities.
It only needs to go nuclear and for a few of theirs to slip though and you'd have a huge uninhabitable hole for the rest of time in heavily populated areas like maybe Seoul or Tokyo.
I'd be tempted to move to somewhere safe like the Falklands if I lived in S Korea.
As for the N Korean people, because of their isolation they have grown up like a nation of brain washed captives not knowing any different so their point of view would be unlike anyone else's in the world.
They're like a tribe lost in the jungle since the birth of time.

Therein lies the problem, however many million standing men there are in in the North Korean Army, the technological superiority of the US military would make any conflict a walkover for the US.
Faced with this situation, the nutjob in charge in Pyongyang would have no qualms about going nuclear.

As long as N korea have no nuclear capability, then whatever rockets they do send up will be shot down before they reach their own beach. But you can't just shoot nuclear missiles out of the sky because they will destroy anything around it for decades to come. Just look at Chernobyl, tbh i don't think even kim is daft enough to risk the wrath of the Americans. He has already changed his rhetoric of firing missiles AT Guam to now firing them into the sea around them  it would be a win win for the Americans, they would just retaliate and blow the place to bits without much loss of life to themselves, and be given a good excuse to do it.

But they do have nuclear weapons, and they can easily load them on to high altitude planes to deliver.
The problem they have at the moment is putting a nuclear warhead into a missle, when and if that happens, the game completely changes.

Then a pre emptive strike is the only option :| if they can stop the Koreans launching them, and hit them on the launchpad, the only trouble with that is, it would affect the people of south Korea :|Wragbyred wrote:But they do have nuclear weapons, and they can easily load them on to high altitude planes to deliver.

Kim has predictably backed off after being stood up to. Typical bully, and a huge loss of face for the idiot. He's already referring to 'Yankees' in his awkward bumbled counter-thrust.
China will be back in their box for a bit too. Doubt they'd have stolen the Paracel Islands in a Trump administration: even though I am disgusted at most of his policies, he's handling Asia correctly in this instance.
I think it will also give Putin food for thought.
