Updated table after last Sat (week 11). Very good scoring for virtually everyone with loads of 3s and 4s but this wasn't the best score!
The winning score was 5 points, achieved by addo - well done!
After the update we have a new table leader (to be honest, I was getting tired of wearing the crown, I've had it for so long, so don't mind a short break!! :D  ) which is Morty - hope you can handle the pressure!!

Think what you mean is:
Morty (and 2 others who are a good chunk ahead)
a couple of others
Saigon and loads of others all on pretty much the same points
some others
people who quite and gave up after a week!

Delusions of grandeur from Saigon Saddler.
"Which I think makes me second" - can we have a Donald Trump emoticon for people who tell blatant porkies despite the evidence in front of them?
Saigon - the Trump of the Prediction League.
Don't worry my perverted friend - "you're doing a great job!"

Gentlemen, gentlemen ...
I think we all know how this ends don't we? :D
These 'vast helpings' or 'fair chunks' of points get miraculously eroded away I end up either winning or being the nearest challenger, all to deafening amounts of stunned silence and humiliation after righting me off after 3 games.
Speaking of which - hello Saddla! This is for you ... :D

It's a marathon - not a sprint.
Don't get too cocky.
Look what a jibbering wreck Saigon has become.

Hear Hear Manchester!
No-body wants to be subjected to the kind of phenomenal arrogance that Morty has selfishly indulged himself with. It makes a mockery of the entire competition and besmirches the guilty party with the disgusting stench of conceit.
It's an absolute farce. :|

Dear Saigon,
I am now back from my world tour and would like you to return my login details in order that I might resume in the prediction league, I trust that you have been posting my predictions every week and look forward to viewing the latest table as leader on maximum points of 66.

Updated table after the weekend's games. Nothing to get excited about on the scoring front with lots of 2s, some 1s and a blob, but the winning score was 3 points, achieved by 7 predictors, so well done to all of you - you know who you are!

Dear Cully,
Yes, I did receive the request and what I assume was some kind of bribe; consisting of a paper bag with a nasty mass of congealed wine gums, a receipt for Meow Mix cat food, a playing card of the 4 of spades (relevance?) and a novelty pencil from Ocean World Miami. Needless to say, you get what you pay for.
Yours successfully,
Sai of Gon. :D

Oh...
I just happened to chance across the table and notice that I've accidentally gone above Saddla.
I'm not sure how this could have happened as I seem to recall being so very far behind quite recently, something that Saddla, now a 'Straggler' was quite keen to point out.
'He's back ...'
As for the rest of you, it's judgement time ...

Wow! Miss Saigon is 1 point above me
Maybe it's something to do with the fact that My ISP decided to shut me down at a most inappropriate time so that I missed a week.
Never mind flower. Rest in the glory while you can. It won't last long.

Latest table after today's games. Lots of unexpected results which meant not many people scored more than 1 point!
However, the winning score was 4 points, achieved by Maverick - well done!
The thread for the mid week games is already up so keep the predictions coming!

I think by my calculations I'm top by 30 points. However I might be wrong, perhaps overexcited by gaining 7 points on Saddla after his obnoxious and unprovoked triumphalism on week 3, and surging ahead of Pedagogue after his outlandish claim that we were on the same points and bracketing me in with Manchester. :( Thankfully my characteristic humility has come to the fore and shown what a gentleman I am.
The campaign continues ... and I bet Swampy is absolutely pooing his pants. 8)

Re: Prediction League 1: 2017-18 - Intro & Latest Table
Hi everyone, apologies for not having the table updated for a couple of weeks but I got married last Saturday and just back from honeymoon so been a bit busy the last couple of weeks!!
Week 14 (Tues 17th Oct) was a VERY weird evening of results! So many draws and only 2 people scored more than 1 point! We also had the most number of blobs that I can remember! The week's winners, with 2 points, were Pedagogue and chunkster - well done!

Next table update - this time from week 15 which was last Saturday.
A strange set of results again and no one stonked it to be honest, which resulted in a top score of just 2 points again, achieved by 9 predictors. So, well done to all of you (too many to list!)
Tomorrow's thread is up and running if you haven't managed to predict yet!
