Well done to the Brewers for staying up in the Championship this season - a monumental effort by them and 'team of the season' for me.
It makes you wonder how we would have fared in their place.

Looks like a toss up between Blackburn and Florist, just maybe Bloose.

Totally agree. Awesome achievement. I can't imagine a single Brewers' fan gave them a hope in hell of staying up when the season kicked off.
Achievement of the season in L1 has to be Fleetwood, irrespective of the outcome of the play offs.

Even more impressive when you consider Rosler took over less than two weeks before the curtain-raiser, after Pressley walked out under a cloud.

Well done to Burton everyones odds on favourites to come straight back down.
Even though it still rankles that they went up instead of us and I cannot stand Clough a great achievement giving hope to smaller clubs.

maybe but not on the same scale as Leicester, Leeds, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Rotherham, Luton etc
the list of clubs who should have been made to start in the lower reaches of the Wessex / Northern Counties league is endless
so at this point a begrudging well done

Ye to be fair a begrudging well done. i must admit i was one of the fans in the away end when we played them at the pirelli . and the stewards where first class. and so where most of the fans. there was one idiot calling for us to be thrown out but the stewards dealt with him. just can't help thinking that we have the potential to be a bigger club and maybe deserve to be there more than they do with a bit more effort :|

Re: Burton Albion
They built their success last season on a solid defence, they only conceded 37 goals, 8 fewer than anyone else in the division. This has also enabled them to stay up. 12 teams in the Championship conceded more goals than them this season. Even Reading in 3rd place conceded more.
We on the other hand, can't defend for toffee.
It's a really simple game football...

Thought they were dull as dishwater last season and dislike Nigel Clough's hooftball so it was a very grudging well done from me last season.
In fairness this season they've had a real go and been much more attacking home and away so looks like that's worked for them rather than trying to grind out 0-0s and 1-0s all the time.

Well done to the world's most consistently boring team.
Achieved promotion by one point and avoided the drop by one point.
