Look at the general picture - the CBI and BCC both agree that Brexit is a dangerous experiment at the very, very best and have repeatedly highlighted the negative impacts on the economy. And it's a fact that they state this.

But its not the CBI & BCC that vote in referendums is it.

As indivduals, yes. They exist as groups to inform and guide business best practice.

Ignore at your peril, oh you already did.

As I have asked before and I will try again, this is becoming quite boring now, but provide me evidence (not predictions by "I am an expert because I went to UNI" and I am a prick like the self righteous one Manchester) but HARD evidence Brexit is evil.

Come on remain voters I have said this before prove me wrong for voting Leave .
All I hear is predictions for 15-20 years time.
Well here is a prediction, Walsall will be romping the Premier League in 20 years time.
See where I am going, predictions are for the majority of the time proven wrong.
That's why they are there.
When doom and gloom is predicted, a la June 2016 which I am still waiting for Saigon, Manchester and then it is proven wrong, oh the government look good.

Thanks for replying anyway.

Say's the man who tar's every Leave voter

I am 43 . I voted Leave. So where do I fit into your model of a Leave voter ?
Am I a racist ? Xenophobe ? Older generation ?
Come on Mr Self Righteous you have the right answers .
I am a 43 year old white male, I suppose I am racist for declaring my race, who voted leave.

There really is no need for this anger and insults, Swampy.

Why do you do it?

Do you shout abuse at everybody you disagree with?

To be honest, you have already told me on the thread why you voted Leave - search back and find the snippet (I can't be bothered to go over old ground for you yet again).

I and others have already given you the evidence you need why Brexit is bad - search back and find the snippet (I can't be bothered to go over old ground for you yet again).

I would hate you to get thrown off the board again for approaching the line, so please try to calm down.

I like you best when you are a reasonable chap - and I know you can be.

Anyway, I'm off for a few days so maybe that will give you a chance to gather your thoughts and perhaps reread some of my posts and others like Chester, Saigon, Exile and other Remainers, as well as your own. The answers you seek are all there. And if you want to finally answer the questions I have been posing since the very beginning of this thread then feel free to do so (though as I said - you already have).

Nice to know we can rely on a good old swampy rant every page. Still hasn’t posted his thoughts about why leav8ng the EU is so great, or tell us why he voted for it, but apparently everyone else has to justify their opinion before he’ll let us in on his superior knowledge,

That’s what happens when the Redtops run 4 negative headlines a week on immigration, and 3 based on lies about the EU, in the run up to a referendum, and declare themselves in favour of exiting the EU. Clue: they’re owned by billionaires based overseas who pay no tax. Of course they want to fudge over the workers and earn more. Low tax Britain is their stated aim, so kiss goodbye to the NHS, and start saving hard, because your pension is next.

This article exposes arch brexiteers as hapless dreamers divorced from reality.

https://www.ft.com/content/ed21472f-043 ... ef0a01fef4

You may have to to submit a simple questionaire to view it.

alternatively view
https://www.reddit.com/r/ukpolitics/com ... gby_jones/

Sadly they managed to sell a pup to a majority of those who voted, but not a majority of the electorate.

In my opinion it is likely that the deals we reach will strike those who voted for Brexit as an unsatisfactory sell out, while the rest of us wonder what anyone imagined we had to gain from the process. Leaving everyone disatisfied dissillusioned and disunited. So much for "soveriengty" and the "will of the people" which in reality is newspeak for the biggest minority has absolute power to dictate our direction but no ability to deliver on its promises.

Perhaps Heinz predicted Brexit near on 12 years ago!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... lland.html

This sort of international restructuring has been going on for years and will continue for years to come whatever the political/economic landscape. To pin it purely on Brexit is ludicrous.

Post Brexit we'll be able to have more chance of keeping these companies because we won't be handcuffed by EU laws that restrict our abilities to offer deals to companies.

Except companies need access to the EU market, customs and tariff free: that's the whole point.

How do we know? Because that's what they specifically say.

Also changed, 'restructuring' for 'investment' to highlight the absurdity of the over-excitement over 700 (potential) jobs.

A fairly stunning comment from Chris Grayling on QT last night in Dover. When asked if Brexit will turn Kent into a lorry park with 29 mile tail backs, he said "no, as there will be no border checks"! When Brexiteers banged on about taking back control of our borders, I don't think they envisaged this.

Seems to have convinced himself that coming out of the Customs Union will generate even less need for border checks than remaining in the CU. Bizarre.

Now saying it could be a 5 hour queue at the train for cars.

Brexiteers bang on about wanting evidence from remainers over how bad it could be but refuse to provide evidence as to how good leaving will be. In reality neither side can provide evidence. The difference is that all the current reports point towards leaving being a bad experience, the effects of the vote (drop in value of the £, numbers of EU workers laving the NHS) that is evidence.
As we were told that we would be better off when leaving as an individual can someone please advise me how a Retirement Pensioner will be made better off by the UK leaving the EU

Germany exports FIVE times more than us to China - WOW and them handcuffed to the EU.

By far the most intelligent and informed input into the whole show last week was by the Irish MEP.

I thought the idea of Brexit was "to make Britain great again" and revive our manufacturing industry!?? :?:

So instead we're going to put 600 jobs at De La Rue at risk so that the French can make our passports!???

A big thank you to the people of Gateshead who voted by a large margin to leave by giving UK jobs to the EU even after we have left.
One of the reasons up north was because firms were being closed down and moved to the EU making people feel neglected I wonder if this would have gone through if the jobs lost were in the south.

Couldn't really give a cack what color my passport is.
Make it pink for all I care.
But this contract being given to a French country wouldn't have anything to with the following FACT that at the moment we are still tied by EU cack.

"Under EU procurement rules, the Home Office had been required to throw open the bidding process to European firms".
The comment is about half way down the story.

Come March next year you know exactly where the EU can shove their "Procurement rules"

Those are the same procurement rules that allow UK businesses to bid for European contracts.

The rhetoric from Brexiters is as strange and disturbing as it is hilarious.

It's almost as if, in some Brexiters' minds, we are at war with the EU.

If you read the Daily Express readers comments on a blue identification booklet (which is essentially what a passport is), they use words like "treason" and
"traitors",

I think this says a lot about the mindset of some of these people.

Note for any "snowflake" Brexiters - I didn't say ALL Brexiters.

I'd hate to make you all as outraged as some of those Express readers!
