Full fry up of 2 perfectly fried or poached eggs, thick, juicy Lincolnshire sausages, carefully ensconced Heinz beans, tinned or fresh grilled toms, fresh grilled mushrooms, with plenty of buttered toast and as many back bacon rashers as can reasonably fit onto the overlarge plate, fried bread optional but quality black pudding is a must. No hash browns - not sure who eats these anyway. And HP brown sauce - with a strong cup of Yorkshire tea.

A Brexiter's breakfast, surely?

It would be, but Lincolnshire was drained by Cornelius Vermuyden who was originally Dutch, the tinned toms would be Italian, bacon is likely to be Danish, the best black pudding is from Ireland, Heinz is American and HP is now made in Holland. Oh and the tea is from India or Sri Lanka.

An international cornucopia of breakfast goodness. :D

And as if on cue dippy (Miss Saigon) and dopey (Manchester) appear. Missed you both.
So come on then oh masters of we know the future and Brexit is evil and should be repealed what are your takes on COB's(his username for the Czech's) statements yesterday ?
You agree we should stay in the Single Market and Customs Union ?
How was it so eloquently put earlier in the thread, we are in a golf club but have no say.
So Cob has decided if he gets the keys for Number 10 (god forbid) he will sell out all his party members that voted Leave, i.e Barnsley as the link I will post later proves, from a Liebour supporting rag.
This just 7 months after claiming he wants to leave the Single Market, another link will be provided.
This from a man who claims to NOT be a career politician and has despised the EU for the majority of his career but is now sucking up to them.

Link 1. Corbyn clearly stating he wants out of the Single Market.
https://www.newstatesman.com/politics/s ... ns-british

Link 2. Corbyn clearly stating he wants in the Single Market.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-43189878

"Labour would seek a final deal that gives full access to European markets and maintains the benefits of the single market and the customs union,"

I will highlight the sentence for you, save you reading his drivel.

And another link highlighting that he is upsetting his hardcore Liebour voters.

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/ ... t-12093689

Like I have said to numerous people, be it online or in person, these are the ramblings of a man who has the onset of dementia.
I will would rather take more notice of what Teresa May has to say on Friday than that of a rambling old man who is punching above his weight.

I don't blame Corbyn for his statements, on the contrary, I feel sorry for him.
He is being used as a puppet for Kier Starmer's rise to the top Liebour job.

Please note as well Miss Wrong un and Mr self righteous I only deal in fact and proof.
Not predictions and forecasts.

From your own evidence:

"Mr Corbyn rejected calls from pro-EU figures like Lord Mandelson and a number of his own backbenchers to commit to staying in the EU single market, saying instead that he wanted a 'close relationship' with it."

The BBC article also points out that, in practice, there is very little difference between May and Corbyn regarding Brexit.

At least the CBI liked his speech.

A company full of predictions and forecasts. Do remind me Guest what happened to their prediction from June 2016 ?I am patiently waiting. Doom and gloom was mentioned alongside Armageddon. 18 months I have been waiting. I was even told from as far as New Zealand it was doom and even he hasn't delivered.
Get my drift, all your predictions so far have been proven wrong. This site needs a smug "I told you so face" so I can rinse this site with it.

Can someone provide a source here? When was "Armageddon" predicted by a remainer-not paraphrased by a leaver? Who was it? When did they predict it for-before or after the actual break?

Wow, this thread has gone wonderfully off piste.

Predictions for the rest of the thread. Both sides of the debate will continue to shadow box each other, more demands will be made for cast iron predictions of the future. A cascade of links to various posters preferred media outlets will be digitally ejaculated across the thread. Counter links will be put forward. Reputations will be won and lost on the digital playing field of UTS. The following phrases will most likely appear:

We haven’t left yet
Maybot
Sausages
Ladyboys and rent boys
You still haven’t answered my question yet
Car manufacturers
Hoovers
Waiting a long time at passport control
NHS buses
Commies
Mogg’s Victorian fantasy
What do experts know?
Well in my opinion
I know what I voted for!
What did you vote for?
Taking back control
The DUP
My links are better than yours!
send the buggers home!

Whilst on the food topic the restaurant business is taking a big hit following a lack of consumer confidence resulting in spending drops after the brexit vote.
From the BBC website:
Italian restaurant chain Prezzo is preparing to close around 100 of its 300 stores in an attempt to rescue the business
Prezzo is also expected to completely close its TexMex chain Chimichanga, which has 33 restaurants in the UK.
Burger chain Byron and Jamie's Italian have both had to undergo similar restructurings this year, agreeing rescue plans with their lenders and landlords, and closing restaurants.
Analysts have said fears over the strength of the UK economy have meant consumers have cut back on discretionary spending.
Last year, consumer spending fell for the first time since 2012, according to payments processor Visa.
Wages have also been rising at a slower pace than inflation, leaving consumers worse off.
The restaurant sector has also faced higher costs for the ingredients it buys overseas due to the drop in the pound since the UK voted to leave the European Union.

But we're all going to be much better off on our own.

The bad news is that an awful lot of people are going to be out of work. Toys R us employees too and Maplin employees.
And just for your information the UK imports around 50% of our food.
UK trade in different food groups, 2016
Image
In 2016 the value of imports was greater than the value of exports in each of the broad categories of food, feed and drink except ‘Beverages’ which had a trade surplus of £1.35 bn, largely due to exports of Scotch Whisky.

Stopping freedom of movement will help the unemployed

And given we import so much food it's just as well we get to renegotiate the tariffs

He is being used as a puppet for Kier Starmer's rise to the top Liebour job.

Please note as well Miss Wrong un and Mr self righteous I only deal in fact and proof.
Not predictions and forecasts.

Why the insults Swampy? Can't you actually be civil?

I disagree with Corbyn - I think he should push for Brexit to be reversed.

Swampy - you know that I deal in facts and proof - just because you choose to ignore them is your own problem.

And the speculation that "we will be alright" is just as much a crystal ball viewpoint as your accusations against Remainers.

I have to say that I had to laugh when you said "he is upsetting his hardcore Liebour voters" for two reasons:

(1) Theresa May is upsetting an awful lot of hardcore Tory voters who want to Remain in the EU with her current Brexit stand (whatever the fork it is).

(2) Jeremy Corbyn is upsetting an awful lot of hardcore Labour voters who want to Remain in the EU with her current Brexit stand (whatever the fork it is).

This is NOT a left versus right thing and your attempts to single out Corbyn are as weak as the "proof" you seem to think you know.

Take a step back from the insults, Swampy, and try to look at the bigger picture.

I have hope that one day you will actually read the facts instead of skipping over them and only seeing blind rhetoric from uber-Brexiters.

And the bad news is ?

Vile places

Is there a danger that only quality restaurants may survive that source ingredients locally??

Ho hum!

Let's see how you feel when your choice is severely limited in the future, Cowshed.

Don't care?

You will do one day if the current lemming mindset continues.

Oh really?

So are these lobbyists trying to force MP's hands? Hardly the democracy you appear to crave is it? Especially as the referendum vote was "Leave or Remain" and not "Remain, BRINO, Soft Brexit, Medium Brexit, Harder Brexit, Throw us off a cliff and fork the country".

The only choices are reverse Brexit or have another referendum!

Any MP who votes against his conscience to save his seat doesn't deserve to be an MP.

The half the population that are Remainers do not deserve this!
