Even the Vietnam and New Zealand Communist Swimming pool alliance can see this :D

How very dare you, apparently she is the epitome of the perfect politician to some, opportunist, two faced, hypocritical, immoral and thick. She has a lot in common with Corbyn although I don't think he had an Afro back in the day.
Vote Weirdos - Get Weirdos.

Cully I'm a lifelong labour voter and party member but I have to say on this rare occasion I agree with every word you say

I'm genuinely disappointed for you, who is actually running the Labour Party? With the advent of Momentum it would appear that the hard left, Marxist/Trotskyist factions now appear to control not only the ideological direction of your party but who will be allowed to progress through the ranks.
It is remarkable that despite the 'poor quality' [and I am being generous] of the leading members of the Labour party that their public showing and campaign would appear to be well received by the electorate. Perhaps one of the major reasons is the terrible campaign being run by the Conservatives and the influential campaign manager Lynton Crosby.
ps. I've just watched the News Night piece from Walsall, very damning comments about the Conservative campaign.............fudge useless

:D

I find myself agreeing with you again my old friend - the Conservative campaign is indeed utterly atrocious. Teresa May has fudged things up so badly she makes Corbyn look good - quite an achievement!

But part company with you on the rest of your commentary. I was expecting the manifesto to be the next 'longest suicide note in history' but I don't think it's particularly Marxist/Trotskyist - I liked it enough to be pounding the streets of Stourbridge delivering leaflets and newsletters over the last few weeks. The grass roots of the party is still populated by nice, reasonable people like me!

He's obviously been reading the wrong books, the wrong papers and the wrong comics. Quite frankly I'm not surprised, he's probably the most out of touch person since Tim the Hermit of Ulan Bator was discovered wearing loon pants and platform shoes from the seventies.

While Abbott may be a scary thought as a potential Home Sec, what collection of cretins could really think that Boris Johnson is actually fit to represent the UK abroad?

On reflection, Labour have done well to avoid some of the "well meaning but counter productive" campaigning from a lot of their celebrity following. Russell Brand, Lilly Allen, Charlotte Church, Eddie Izard have been conspicuous by their absence. I reckon these lot had a direct baring on both the last general election and the referendum. And not the baring they intended.

The media has been more polarised than usual. The Tory rags have been a disgrace, both sides continue to harp about the BBC being biased and whilst the left has social media sewn up, some of the stuff, especially some of the hypocracy on there will have worked against them.

Those in the know reckon on around a 70 Tory majority. Both sides to declare victory if that is the case. A mandate for May and oddly, for Corbyn too.

Me too!

Now lads, it's time to put your X against your chosen party, a vote for Corky Clown Corbyn spending billions of pounds that we don't have, opening the floodgates to millions of immigrants, 'talking' to ISIS, back to the seventies nationalisation, Join Trump in bringing back coal mines perhaps, taxing the wealthy and Industry that give us all jobs? But it's a party for us all.........2/6d extra in our pay packet......(until we lose our job).

Or, a vote for sanity....the Monster Raving Loony party, probably the only protagonists that aren't in it for what they can get...'bugga the proletariat' emblazoned on the rosettes, whether it be red or blue.

Ya never know, if Labour could run our country, Walsall could avoid relegation! Hoooraaaahhh!

See ya at the polling station!

Interesting......looks like the bile merchants in The Sun and Daily Mail are not quite as influential as they were in the good old bad old days.
