Don't get Markis in a lone forward role at all so yes would take him off as the other forwards been good in recent weeks.

He got booked for an absolutely diabolical dive in the area. Cheating Scunthorpe.

Gillingham have equalised at Fleetwood - it's 1-1 now.

Ditto Bramall Lane - Blades 1-1 with Dons now.

Scunthorpe are at their favourite scoreline - 4-1 at home to Swindon (48 min)

Bristol Rovers 1 Peterborough Utd 1

No substitutions by either side in the important game..... (yet)

60 minutes gone, and we've had 1 shot on target. Time to mix things up, surely? Jackson has to be a good shout..... :?

"Flat" sounds accurate.... as at 70 minutes we've had 6 shots all game, with 2 being on target!!

Coventry's 2nd yellow card at this point.

1-1 full time, and the unbeaten run continues. I'm glad of a point from that, having gone 0-1 down. :D

Yes not a great performance it seems so you take a point in those circumstances.

Not sure when the next league game will be...could be in 3 weeks time.

Very average so happy with a point.

Just want to make 3 points,

We would be in deep cack without ozzy.
Makris is not good enough.
Moussa was mainly disinterested, quite angry with his performance.

That game could get re-arranged due to the international break.
I'm hoping not as it's a local one for us.

Kinsella should have buried his chance in injury time and won it for us although we'd have been lucky.
Overall the performance wasn't brilliant so happy with a point.

Fair result.

I would say that in general play Coventry played a little better than we did, although they didn't create a lot.

Well worked goal for us.

Think Etheridge slid on his knees into their man and could possibly have been a penalty.

We were very poor first 60 minutes, Cov really pressed us well and did a job on us and got their deserved goal. Second half we started poorly but grew into it with a lovely finish from Oztumer again. We then could of (and should of) won it with Kinsella's injury time chance.

Ref seemed to have had a flutter on Cov as well, he was very poor.

I'd say a 1 all draw was fair.

Stick for Makris is harsh for me, he had zero service all game and isn't tall enough to win the high balls that our centre halves kept playing to him.

Cant wait for the over reactions later.

First half we weren't very good but im not sure i would describe it as awful. Coventry happily let the two CBS have the ball because they couldnt do anything with it. Thought they defended well most of the game to be honest.

Poor poor goal to concede, Moussa not tracking back and the shot went through Etheridge.

Coventry should have been out of sight but when a team lets you off you have to get back in it, and we did with a sublime goal. Oztumer magic. We could hve nicked it at the end, but as both teams missed compete sitters a point was fair.

Makris got some stick, with the ball lumped at him all game in all fairness, but Jacksons little toe did more in the 20 minutes he was on than Makris did all game.

Ref was really really bad. Inconsistent. Also the tackle on Morris was naughty. Injury did not look good. Which was a shame as Morris was a player who was really getting into the game second half.

I don't think playing makris and thumping the ball up to him all game is doing his confidence any good at all (not his fault). i think it would be better to send the lad out on loan and it may give him some confidence back.

Overall performance wasn't very good - Coventry squandered quite a few chances.

We really struggle defending our wings, and strangely, despite having 2 deep midfielders in Chambers and Edwards, we seem to have a massive gap in the middle too. Moussa and Morris don't offer any protection on the wings.

Makris again offered nothing, as I said after the Gillingham game, he's a write off, he's got nothing in his locker. It's little wonder that as soon as he went off and Jackson came on - and actually MOVED - we looked dangerous. At one point, shortly before Makris came off, and shortly after O'Connor had sent a long ball forward, I swear I saw O'Connor glare over at the bench, IMO pissed off at the lack of movement.

Toner again suspect, and generally, the team have no urgency to track back, McCarthy got caught out up the field loads.

Awful afternoon.

Dreadful performance, particularly in a first half devoid of any football, any thought, any drive or any creativity. We were a poor shadow of the team we had last year.

Good call regarding Makris. Not a single decent ball into him all afternoon. It has to be hugely frustrating for him with defenders and midfielders constantly hoofing balls over his head. Sadly Whitney seemed incapable of changing the shape of things

Coventry were poor too. We didn't though have the pace, energy, skill or intelligence to exploit them.

And the referee was even worse! We kicked off 5 minutes late for some reason, I assume that it must have been us who were responsible - from his decisions it looks like we must have pee-ed him off. That said best not to dwell on that. We were poor.
