Belg, at the match, reports that we are all over em at the moment, but up to the goal we were utterly toothless!
His words were not quite as acceptable on public media!

As it stands, yes, we are only 4 points off the play off places......BUT more importantly, only TWO points off the relegation zone!! :( And Belg is on the verge of a heart attack! Theym peppering our goalmouth.

Over, 1-1, we held on, some strange results tonight, and can we borrow Taylor from Brizzle Rovers please? Hat trick away from home, what we would give eh?

A good point away from home but how close this division is at the moment!!! The season could go either way....UTS

5 points between 7th and 21st. That's close
Purely theoretically, two wins for Oldham (21st) and they'm in the playoffs

I liked it best when we didn't have 'internationals' (apart from one big goalie who played on occasions for N.I. I seem to remember) ....3rd Division cloggers rule KO!
Presume you're referring to Mick Kearns AM? Republic of Ireland.

A great point away from home :D but it's still a bit niggling that we can only get a point from a very poor team. just sayin  but in our defence i think that if we had had our first team choice i think we would have won. looking forward to the game reports from the superb fans that traveled there :D

A point is a point, and I'll take that happily. We used to be the team others beat to end their poor runs...

to be honest we always LOST against poorer teams and beat teams at the top  but this result shows how far we have changed as a team and our management :wink:Exile wrote:A point is a point, and I'll take that happily. We used to be the team others beat to end their poor runs...

Or Trevor Wood who was with us 94-97.
Still remember his game against Leeds in the FA Cup. Absolutely unbeatable for 89 minutes.

I believe that's the first point gained from a losing position this season so good nights work- looking forward to Swindon.
Hopefully have some strikers back for that....anyone know what's up with Jackson? Only going by radio but Markis seemed utterly anonymous leading the line tonight.

Yes, I thought of Trevor Wood, but the description of "a big goalie" didn't seem to fit - as I remember him, Trevor Wood was a titch. Damn good keeper though!! :D

David Wetherall wasn't it ?
I know we lost the replay 5-3 at Elland Road cos I was at that as well. OConnor hatrick.
Same year played West Ham over 2 leg in the League Cup.
Went to both.
Got back into Bloxwich @ 2.30 am but still in work for 8.
