I was wondering whether people thought he'd done enough to get a contract as his height could prove useful.

Apart from Bakayoko we still have a team of Munchkins.

If the munchkins can win 5-0 I'll take the munchkins any day. How tall was Alan Buckley, or indeed Tony Richards or Colin Taylor?

It helps with corners, free-kicks or any type of ball lobbed into the box. It was our Achilles heal last year as those that went to Bradford will vouch.

None of the goals we scored yesterday was a header.

You both make valid points but I tend to agree that Osborne's height and physical strength would be very useful to the team - if as Pedders said we can get him fit. He went on one run in the second half where the Solihull players just bounced off him.

Oztumer was a delight to watch from a pure footballing point of view but he will need some "protection" be it from the ref or his own teammates. It was very amusing at the end of the game when there was a bit of a debrief on the pitch. Fans went on for selfies and/or autographs. Most of the teenage lads were taller than Ozzie who at what 5ft 2inches was lost in the melee!!

Incidentally that is what is great about pre season friendlies at Rushall, Leamington or Solihull. You can get up close, feel part of it and forget about the 9 or 10 that have left and hopefully find a new "hero". You can stick your pre season tour of the Far East or America and enjoy a cheese burger from Solihull for £3.00 However Liam didn't use the word enjoy when we got back home!!

Erhun's a lofty 5'3" in his stockinged feet.

I've seen plenty of him in L1 and in the Isthmian league (which has a fair few thuggish defenders) and he can look after himself without any mollycoddling officials. His obvious weakness in the air is more than compensated by his laser-like ability to plonk the ball directly onto the head or at the feet of a colleague 50-60 yards away if you do need to play any direct football at any time.

Relax and enjoy.

Enjoyed it... first half especially when It contained more of what I would call "first teamers"

Thought Flo and Satsuma were ace... No need to panic Mr Mannering

That was an enjoyable highlight real. Players looked happy to be there. Bakayoko has bulked up considerably. This could be his season.

Dobson's fancy footwork was as impressive as Sawyers.

Lots to be cheerful about. :P
