England Vs Chile

Fri Nov 15, 2013 9:54 pm

Chile had a bit of technique and a bit of organisation and that was more than enough for us.

Outside of our first 12 or 13 we've got no depth whatsoever. So many players out of their depth it was a bit embarrassing.

This is what the Premier League has done to the national team. Ironically when it was formed one of the reasons that was given was that it would make England stronger. What a load of bollocks that turned out to be.

Wait for Sheff to pop along with some made up statistics trying to show we're no worse since '92.

I feel like I'm moaning about it every day, but what is the hype all about around Wilshere? I honestly try to look at him objectively, but he's bang average. To compare him to anyone if his continental peers like Xavi, Reus, Gundogan or Scweinsteiger is a joke.

Don't mind losing to Chile. People who keep an eye on South America know they're a balls out team who know what they're doing.

Absolutely.

We're better off with Jordan Henderson. Seriously.

It's the fact that he's neither here nor there.

He's not great defensively like Xavi, Martinez or Mascherano.

He's not got the range of passing of Scholes, Xavi, Alonso or even Carrick.

He's not as incisive as Reus, Iniesta or Ribery.

It seems as if running around a shitload and going to ground for every tackle made puts you into the emerging world class category for the press and idiots.

He's lucky Arturo Vidal didn't play last night. He'd have killed him.

Not brilliant support at wembley like the poles the away crowd more lively and there seem to be a few Germans about in the capital today so we are likely to be out sung again on Tuesday. better watching them away nowadays.

Any team that played a 3-3-3-1 at a World Cup is ace by default.
