Sweden v England 14 Nov (friendly)

And you thought it was Walsall's prerogative to concede goals for fun? There was England, 1-2 ahead at half-time then going on to lose the match 4-2. You thought our goalkeeper was comical? Look at Joe Hart's role in Sweden's third (direct from a free kick) and fourth (rushing out of the penalty area to try and head clear).

Just like Walsall, England offered loads of pressure having gone behind....too little, and far too late.

A bit of a joke, but not as funny.

Lineker was a superb player and one of my faves when I was a kid but Ibrahimovic is a class above him even.

England are light years away from producing a player of that level - he'd have been turned into Andy Carroll at an English youth academy.

That has to be the best goal ever scored? If there's one better than that, i haven't seen it.

Much as I hate to admit it Diego Maradona's goal tops that. He had to do so much skill past more than one player whereas long rangers and overhead volleys etc are always more split second/speculative efforts (albeit Ibrahimovic's goal was magnificent - don't get me wrong).

Bretty Angell scored goals like that all the time. :D
