I think Croatia have potential to go all the way too.

They could win their group.

I also think Spain may drop a bollock, not sure why.

I'd agree with this.

England performances at tournaments in my lifetime tend to fall into 3 categories:

1) We haven't qualified. (USA '94, Austria / Switzerland '08)
2) We play poorly in the group but manage to reach the knockouts then get beaten by a better team after finally playing well. (France '98, Portugal '04)
3) We play poorly in the group and need a result in the last group game but balls it up. (Belgium / Netherlands '00)

The last time i can remember us playing fairly well was the World Cup in '98 and '02, over a decade ago. Depressing!
And Portugal '04 was fairly good.
