England 1 - 0 Norway

Well done England and Roy.

Solid enough start with 4or 5 missing who will be key in a week or two. Could have been two or three up at half-time but to be honest if we'd have mullered them national expectation levels would have shot through the roof to the usual unrealistic proportions. So a steady one nil keeps the whole thing nicely in its place and no-one is getting too excited this morning.

Don't understand why John Terry is absent, but there you go.

Because he's over 24, Chelsea will have to pay themselves compensation if he plays for England as he came through their youth team.

Hope this answers your question.

wasn't too bad that, pleasing enough, still wish death upon the England band though.

Terry was absent due to the champions league final, extended break even if he didn't feature.

I sat in the stands loads of times at The Banks's last season. Does that mean I am entitled to an "extended break" from work?

I am over 24.

Many thanks.

Not saying I agree with it either, just how it is.

Celebrating with the Huddersfield players yesterday must've took it out of him.

Seen today, leading the 'barmy army', at Trent Bridge.

No but you may be entitled to a fee of some kind. Nobody is quite sure at the moment?
