I wish there was a planned decapitation of the England band.

That would be great hlaf time entertainment. Maybe at the last group game in the Qatar World Cup, assuming we can qualify...

I dunno, in a deal I just struck with the devil I traded 2 Dutch goals for a Sheff Utd goal. Walsall are out of the bottom four again. phew!

Am I the only one who thinks the atmosphere at England games at Wembley is really flat and terrible?

It's all a bit Emirates stadium if you ask me, no chanting, no voiciferous support, just the occasional collective gasp when something happens.

Think it depends on the game.

Went to a night game against the Ukraine during the World Cup 2010 qualifiers and the atmosphere was electric with England winning 2-1.

The next England game i went to at Wembley was the Mexico friendly before the World Cup where England won 3-1 but weren't exactly convincing.
The game was at a weekend and during the day rather than at night and the atmosphere was a lot different as the crowd seemed to be more hundreds of schoolkids and corporate twangers on a jolly.

Well what can we learn from last night!?

We mastered the sideways pass, and had no penetration up front!

No mate, it's shocking, we've still got the best away support going though.

The only people that seem to be standing up and giving it some are, sadly, the England band, who are obviously a bunch of barclays.

It was poor from England all round! I find more excitement watching the French played Germans that night.
