Well Ive had a brain wave.
To avoid all these times when the ball crosses the line but the linesman doesnt see it...dig down 2 feet in the area of the net...a bit like you'd get on table football...that way if the ball crosses the line, it's clear! :D
Easy way to prevent was it over the line goals...
Walsall supporters react to England's despairs - as they happened. No text speak, please.

And then when players go sprinting back to clear the ball off the line, they slide down the hole.
Excellent! :D

Or maybe angle the ground beyond the goal line sharply down so that when the ball hits the ground it bounces back into the net.

We should just have a bed of nails behind the line, then we would know because the ball would burst. For clearances off the line we would find out who the real gutsy players are

And then if the ball is chipped in (doesnt hit the floor) and a defender clears it out of the goal, or a keeper grabs it from over the goal line, what happens then? :D

Two other ideas;
1. Put a big piece of velcro across the whole of the goal and use a fluffy 5 a side ball.
2. Dig a tunnel so when the ball drops into the goal it rolls down and pops up on the centre spot like those fancy crazy golf holes where the ball automatically goes into the gaffers hut when you putt the last hole.

Just have some sort of lazer from the crossbar to the line on the floor, whenever the ball goes over that, itll instantly burn and turn into a pile of ash.
Note: This will happen to players aswell, if it does indeed happen, teams may bring on another player, and it will not be counted as a sub.

Build a breeze block wall just behind the goal line, and paint it bright pink just before the match so the paint is wet. If you think the ball goes over the line, all you need to do is pick it up and look for a pink smear.

Then we should change our kit to pink, then our club football will have pink colours on it instead of red, and everytime/if it gets close to the goal we can pick it up and point to the pink marks.

Glue the keeper's feet to a pivot, subbuteo stylee, so he can't jump up and grab the ball, then pretend it never went in.

Reach for the lasers, shabba!
If the lasers are like the ones in Harpers, The Zone, or The Dome off of the 90s, and definitely not the naff ones from the illuminations then I'm all for this idea.

I like this idea a lot. With this system the crowd could throw coins, hammers knives etc at the keeper and watch them get zapped by the lasers.
Perhaps different coins would explode with different colours. It would guarantee my attendance at night games.

how about lasers, and also dig out the goal area and have sharks in a pool, with fricking lasers surgically attached...

What about using a camera on the line, which the 4th official can take a look at and instantly decide.... oh, hang on, thats a silly idea. Sorry.

Or implement the 5th officials behind the goals that was trailed in the Europa league they could have the final say on whether it is a goal, goal kick or corner and assist the referee with penalty decisions.

Re: Easy way to prevent was it over the line goals...
What about making the area from the goal line to the back of the net smaller, say, down to the diameter of the ball. That way, if its over the line, it hits the net.

Good work chaps, I think if we amalgamate the ideas we'd have the perfect solution:
So what we'd end up with would be:
- The area inside the goal would be dug down about 4ft
- It would be filled with water
- It would be filled with laser-enhanced mini killer sharks
- It would have a bed of spikes rising through the water
- There would be a laser forcefield across the line
- The spike would have velcro on the tips
- If the ball does drop in the water and isnt burst by the lasers, spikes or sharks, it gets sucked out by super powerful drains and spat out in to the directors box

And then you'd notice the linesman had ruled it out for offside :D
