SA v Mexico

Decent opening game but since when was the goalie the last man by default? I dont get it, am i missing something? Looked a perfectly legal goal to me as Pienaar was on the field. :? :? :?

there always have to be 2 defenders between the back-line and the striker (normally goallie and 1 defender). As the goallie was gone there was only 1 defender left so correct decision, deffo off-side

:? Oh well.

South Africa were desperatly unlucky, but it was probably a fair result.

Great game - brilliant goal but really poor defending for the 2nd.

Yeah they are quite poor at defending, their left back in the first half was utter tat.

Mexico are good attacking, but no end product. Their goalkeeper is hilariously tat.

A decent game for a world cup opener enjoyed it ,both teams will find it difficult scoring goals as the tournament progresses .

When was the last time you saw a goal given for offside when there was a man on the line?

Exactly.

Seen it loads of times over the years mate. I was only joking, chill.

For the ladies, you know it's offside.... when the flag goes up
