FA Say NO to Official World Cup Song?

Sun Jan 17, 2010 8:32 am

Upon hearing the FA have said no to an official world cup song what does everybody make of this? Sure, there'll be so many unofficial but something wont be the same when you wont be hearing an official world cup song..Ah well, we've still got 3 Lions and Vindaloo!
What does everybody think of this news? Its ashame and I expect Capello had a say as I heard he never was a fan of an official song..

No doubt The Sun will run a competition in association with Sky Sports, and nobody will realise it ain't official.

It's a travesty ever since Cicciolina was passed over anyway.

Exactly my point, I think! The Poppies versus a John Barnes rap? A no brainer. AND you could sing it on the terraces. :D
