England v Germany (friendly) 19/11
Squad:
Carson, Hart, James, Bridge, Davies, Johnson, Terry, Lescott, Mancienne, Richards, Upson, Barry, Carrick, Downing, Lampard, Wright-Phillips, A Young, Agbonlahor, Bent, Crouch, Defoe, Walcott.
Doubtful/Injured already:
Gerrard, Rooney, Terry, Ferdinand, Hart, Cole J and Cole A, Heskey. Bent was pulled off at 71 minutes, so Redknapp has a ready-made excuse if he deems it necessary.

I will not be there. I will be at a pointless, and probably stupid, meeting. :(

Have you actually watched what happened?
Terry waited and waited.
Shielded and Shielded.
Waiting for some t!t in goal to come and get it, like any decent keeper would have.

Re: England v Germany (friendly) 19/11
well if he was that in doubt he should of just put it in row z. But no Precious John Terry is innocent again.
Both were at fault for the goal, but i dont hear anyone criticising John Terry? Because they are kissing his butt, scared to upset an England regular.
Funny how all the mindless thick England fans who boo when england are building up an attack, dont watch carson play for his club. He's a top goalkeeper, he was class for villa right up until the england fans got on his back, and he's class for albion. I hope the same doesnt happen to him this time, the bloke cant win.

Exactly. It was 90% down to Terry - but he's too big to criticize. You could see on the replay from behind the goal that at no point did Carson shape to charge out and clear it out from beyond the edge of the box. Without that then it was never going to reach the keeper without Terry playing it - and Terry could see what Carson was doing. He should just have knocked it back to Carson early on or cleared it later when they two of them got too close together.
Carson's 10% of the blame comes from not communicating that to Terry, rather than from not charging out (and risking a collision, a ricochet or a miskick) when his centre back ought to have had the situation under control.

I know this might seem a silly question.
But, if as you say "that at no point did Carson shape to charge out and clear it out", could I ask what he was doing on the edge of box?

He came out in fits and starts as he gradually realized that Terry wasn't going to do anything with it.
At least Terry's made amends now!! :D :D :D

Anyway, back to the performance.
5 in a row for Capello.
And I must admit, I love watching England again.

We're playing pretty well at the moment - which is really good to see. Just need to keep their feet on the ground now. Overconfidence has been more of a problem over the years than the recent lack of it.
