So upsetting even my neighbours are all following the updates and coming round for drinks saying how unfair that we will lose a promotion by one point!

Great send off for the 3,500 of our lot who made the journey though!

Just hope the team haven't used up all the goals for the two games v Barnsley who score quite a few themselves. Might aswell keep the attacking line up for away game and see what happens.

Unless Burton spend a few million on new players, they will be an utter laughing stock in the Championship, not even able to be relegated Donny, down to nine men.

Bizzare to feel deflated after a 5-0 win but dunno my gut feeling is auto promotion or bust....Burton have snatched it.

No, just depends on the make up of the squad. Players like Bradshaw, Henry and Sawyers will eventually flourish in the championship, will Beavon, Akins and Duffy make same impact?

Burton will need 5-6 to be competitive imo although of course they recruited very well this season and it has paid off.

Doncaster have given it a go (well, up to the 80 minute, anyway) but what are the chances of a side having two players going off with enforced injuries and down to 9 men?

Credit to Burton, they have earned it over the 46 games. What an effort from us, winning the last three matches and missing out by just a point. At least we have momentum for the Play Off's and we should have nothing to fear from Barnsley (despite their excellent win today).

Proud to be a Saddler (but gutted at the same time).

Crikey Burton go up like they have won most games with a whimper. I really think if Donny hadn't had injuries they would have snook a goal.

Just one word sums up today. Proud.

Proud of our team, our management, our fans, even the board!.

We gave it everything today and got our just rewards. Beating Vale 5-0 on their own patch is phenomenal.

I get that people feel flat. But we're back at it now and when we're on song no-one can touch us.

Let's all get up to Yorkshire next Saturday and create the sort of atmosphere we did today.

Fair play to
Burton, but the football gods haven't half shone on them these last few weeks.

THAT was one of the best away performances I've ever seen.

Everyone was a 9/10. Forde 10/10. Forde was unplayable. He was sublime. That was up there with Sawyers at Blackpool. Wow wow wow.

So proud to be a saddler. The support was incredible. Yes I'm a little gutted but that's just football. We now take this momentum into the play offs.

Port Vale are scum. Burslem needs to be burnt to the ground.

A top day with some incredible goals.

Some top quality goals there from Forde and Mantom, and Demetriou's two strikes on goal weren't bad either.

Irrespective of circumstances, thumping Fail like that on their own patch is very sweet.

Enjoyable day, fantastic performance, superb away support but a disappointing finale. Got covered in what smelt like beer after the first goal!

Oh well, lets storm the play offs! Proud of the lads, they gave there all and they still have so much to give :D
