All we need now is one goal from Doncaster Rovers...it's not a lot to ask.......
Wigan Athletic 1 Barnsley 1 now, by the way. ....... Edit that - it's now Wigan 1 Barnsley 2

First shot on target for Burton, comfortably saved.
Home side increasing the pressure. Brewers 3,300 fans very quiet.
Christ almighty 3-0 :D

0-0 at Doncaster at half-time. They seem to be suffering from the O'Dismals - 1 shot in the first half, and that was not on target.
According to the BBC website our 3rd goal (Forde) was a strike from more than 35 yards. Gotta see that one......

They've just shown a reply of Fordes goal on Sky.
FORK ME , what a strike.
Think Gazza's strike against Arsenal in the semi final and you're on the right lines.

One shot on target Welsh, but weak and straight at the keeper. Burton look strongest from corners but most of the last 20 minutes has been played in their own half. The Brewers, whilst jittery, are defending in numbers and defending well. With the guile of the likes of Williams though, it is not beyond the home side to nick one.

As things stand (half-time everywhere) Barnsley hold 6th place in the table, so we would be up against them if it came to play-offs - Bradford City and Millwall would play each other, being 4th and 5th respectively.
Even though Blackpool are 0-1 up at Peterborough it doesn't look as though it will be enough to save them, as Fleetewood are leading Crewe Alexandra 2-0.
Just before half-time Duffy (Vale full back) was shown the game's first yellow card.

Over at Doncaster, Burton Albion introduce a substitute to start the 2nd half....... Beavon (Striker) removed, and Butcher (Defender) brought on. Looks like they're shutting up shop......
Port Vale do the same - Kelly on for McGivern.....can't see it making much difference!! :D

Burton Albion have their 5th corner (51 min)
Doncaster substitutions.....Mandeville (striker) off, and Tyson (striker and 2nd top scorer) on..... come on.....
The other substitution, Middleton off, Calder on, they're both midfielders.

Doncaster Rovers' 3rd substitution..... Chaplow (midfielder) off, and Longbottom (striker) on. They really do seem to be going for it - come on you Vikings!!!!!!!
Gillingham 0 Millwall 1....... that lifts Millwall above Bradford City, but still nowhere near us!

Just hope we don't go 'off the boil' like we did against Fleetwood and let a silly goal in, something like replacing Morris with Mantom..........shite! too late, that's just what he's done!! :(
Ah well, just one mistake 'might' be allowed then, 4-0 4 Bloomin nil!!!!!!!
