Just as Troy's injury time brace had put a smile on my face that late Burton winner wiped it off. The fat lady is doing her vocal warm ups vis-a-vis the auto spots but lets dish out a long overdue 5-0 spanking on Monday to keep the fat cow quiet for a couple more days at least!

Burton have had some luck over the last couple of games, but you earn it over the course of the season. There is still a glimmer of hope and we simply have to go for it on Monday. The thrashing at Bradford combined with Burton's big win at Colchester last week has probably done for us.

i can not believe that :( i will miss both while in tenerife :( i had no idea that this would happen last year when i booked the holiday :( , but we could still do it if burton lose at doncaster and we winn our 2 games can't we? we just need to score 5 goals in our last 2 games

The problem is that by next Saturday Doncaster Rovers won't be desperate....with things as they are they're down, because even if they win next week against Burton Albion their goal difference won't get anywhere near Fleetwood's.

Edit - Meanwhile, Colchester United get a last gasp equaliser at Barnsley !! (which means that Gillingham are still in with a shout of the play-offs)

I'm on holiday too for the first play off, which will be at Barnsley won't it?
Lets hope that we don't repeat last seasons howler up there (was last season wasn't it? tried to wipe it from the memory, a bit like bradfut last week).
Truly awful day, 92nd bloomin minute!! And what happened to Doncaster? Thought they were on a great run?
Now next week they will only be playing for pride, not enough to beat Burton I'm afraid, they'm just too lucky.

What are the chances ? Crewe hadn't won for 10 games before today so anything could happen

Remember beating Bristol city 3-1 away then losing 2-0 at home and then winning 2days later

Then at Cardiff 2-1 down in extra time won 3-2

Agreed, but on the other hand Crewe Alexandra were down and out this morning (as were Bolton Wanderers), but sometimes that situation results in the pressure being off (said he, clutching at straws!!).
