All my experiences of Oldham have been defeats so i'm glad i'm not there.

Heart says 0-2
Head says 1-1
:(

Will settle for a draw and i think ultimately the play offs.

Another day at Wembley anyone.

WM, you're having a laugh. Key mid-table mediocrity to cover from the championship is the dongle FM criterion. Personally, I'm streaming the Vile for a massive laugh

I'm following it on the Betfair stream, and according to them we're having twice as many "Dangerous attacks" as Oldham.

100% better than last week's effort.
Forde is playing well and adding purpose to our attacks - probably should be a goal to the good now.
Although Downing almost contrived to gift them the lead.

No Walsall substitutions to start the 2nd half - JW must be confident in this team's ability today..... :D

Southend Utd 0 Fleetwood Town 1 (52 min)

Blackpool 0 Colchester Utd 1 (60 min)

Wigan Athletic 1 Coventry City 0 (56 min) :( :( :( (some bloke called Grigg  )

Cook is on as substitute for Tom Bradshaw (injury) :( :( :( :(

The first yellow card of the game goes to Oldham - and it's Antnee who gets it, naturally!!

In rapid succession, a 2nd and 3rd yellow card for Oldham....... I think our footballing skills are being thumped.

Our third substitution on 84 minutes - Kieron Morris on for Sam Mantom

No good dominating posession without even getting our shots on target and having dropped to 6th now there's huge pressure to win those games in hand!.

Can't help thinking O Connor would of been vital in this game, handling the strength of the oldham players and good at pushing the other players forward.

Bit sobering looking at the table to see us drop to 6th place.

The winning goal scored by Curtis Main who is on loan from Doncaster Rovers who are also effectively relegated by him!

Wow only 2 pages for a toothless defeat, would've been up to about 6 if Salian was still around.

First half we were pretty good. Decent couple of chances and a bit of purpose. Forde in the middle of most of our good stuff.

Second half we were very very poor. Not sure the half-time chat would be heavy on the tactical stuff to be honest and you can only get so far by repeating the word "believe".

The way we tried to chase the game after we went behind was a shambles. Long balls which ultimately lead to a stretch too far for Tom and that looked like a groin injury which could mean weeks out. If you're going to go long at least have something to aim at and stick Preston on. Taking Forde off smacks of a personal rather than a professional decision.

Rant over. Forget Burton, at least Barnsley lost so the play-offs still look possible, but I reckon it'll be tight.

Keep doing the same things and we'll get the same results I suppose can't say much as I didn't go be interested to see people's comments on who went,
Did we look like scoring?
Did we create enough?
What needs to change for us to improve in the next few important games?

i know i said that i thought that burton had gone, but i didn't think that we would suffer the same fate :( . i just can't see why we didn't strengthen in the departments that we needed? ie a striker. we just don't have someone to take over tom's role. and if he is out with a groin strain for a few weeks then we really are stuffed. if we can win our 2 games in hand we will be right back in it. but without a decent striker  . is the transfer window still open?

We got Hiwula in, didn't we? Maybe he'll step-up if Tom's injured.
