I agree with Sallian. We shouldn't have sacked SOD. We should never have employed him in the first place.

An excellent win tonight against a decent side. In some ways an even better win than on Saturday given their home record.

I love battling 1-0 away victories :D .

The promotion dream is well and truly back on - I just wish we could play all our matches away from home at the moment.

Great result - couldn't be there but looking forward to seeing the goal and 'that' save!

Now let's make it all worthwhile with a good performance and result v The U's on Saturday

unfortunately I couldn't make tonights game albeit I have been down to club earlier to buy my Sheffield utd and Oldham tickets.

I would like to thank the Walsall fans that made the long expensive trip up there today fantastic support and well noisy on the radio.

was a very important 3 points and think I needed oxygen just listening to that injury time.
ive seen the wonderful goal but I got to say neil etheridge what a save old pal.
I know you get some criticism as a goalie as youre highlighted but that was a worldy save in the 96th minute and gained us that extra 2 points we deserved.

I hope chambers injury isn't too costly but after Saturdays game weve a mini break so hopefully he can clear the knock up
although it sounded like Kinsella did a sterling job when he came on.

I cant comment as I wasn't there but sounded like a great 3 points ground out like sir rays days.

I'm not getting carried away just yet but now were 10 pts clear of the play off zone with 10 games to go.
id be amazed if 4 wins didn't cement at least a play off place.
I would think 6/7 wins could just squeak us into the autos but who knows long way to go yet.

well done all supporters and players tonight make me very proud to be a saddler

What a great result, I wish I wasn't such an indecisive person so I could have been there(actually I'm a Walsall fan I blame geography and time)
Personally tonight is a bigger result than Saturday. Saturday it was the whole a sign the players were happy under new regime, playing a mid table average nothing to play for team it was the same feeling to Oldham at home all those years ago.

Tonight they were over all that euphoria and playing a team in form unbeaten at home for relatively a good time. It was one of those games that maybe answers the questions of the management and team that can they dig in and grind out results when it matters. Shows hopefully they can and fingers crossed can really push on now.

Either way it's opened up an interesting end to the season where we can enjoy it. And after all isn't that what this game is all about above trophies money and everything. If those things were more important we would all elsewhere...and villa park would be converted to apartments

Listened to the game, hard fought win!

Absolutely buzzing with this turnaround.

Great win, great, enjoyable match thread (I look forward to reading the reports of those that were there); all in all a pretty successful Tuesday evening.

Well done to those that went, loud and proud again! :D

God those highlights make it look like a one sided match - the only Walsall attack in that package was the goal! Please someone tell me it wasn't that bad?

Massive game on Saturday now, we can do it away from home but if we can't win at home we ain't gonna do it.
