Yeessssssssssssss!!!

Brilliant result.

I am sooo, looking forward to playing shoulder to shoulder with Vile next year. Finally my fellow Aldridge "glory hunting" friends will see that the Aston is just a smelly hairy armpit suburb of Birmingham, and Worsul is heavens garden.

My mission is to convert the Aldridge Massif to supporting Walsall next season, shouuld add around 16 season ticket sales!

Another excellent away result - our ninth win in the League on our travels too  .

A second successive Graydon-esque away win too, grinding out the points against difficult opponents.

The FA Cup is forgotten already.

Nobody should underestimate the importance of the bounceback tonight - the timing couldn't be more perfect to give everyone a shot in the arm...

We really have a chance of auto promotion this year - amazing stuff.

Meanwhile on WM - Tonka first caller - e's gorra gewww

It sounds that we started the game as we ended the game against Reading, but eventually got it out of our system and recovered some equilibrium.

BTW: Speaking of Reading I notice although he was said to be available, there was no George Evans in their defeat tonight, nor was he on the bench.

that for me was more about the result than the performance.
a fantastic 3 points at a tricky away fixture coming off the back of a hiding.
our first double of the season.

how massive is crewe away now can see that selling out especially if we beat millwall Saturday

well done the lads

Wow, that's great news.
Millwall didn't even play tonight so it must have have been a diabolically late tackle from Saturday.

Just back in from the game. 1st half we were poor. No real possession and continually playing long balls. 2nd half an improvement and gradually we looked the more likely scorers. A super strike from Mantom and a sublime assist by Sawyers from a corner to provide Taylor with the second. A nervy ten minutes after they scored but the sort of result we will need to be automatically promoted.

A huge 3 points it seems like we started slow but came into the game and seemed to be a lot of positives from the game from the commentary.

Febuary is a huge month for us now
with
Milwall,Burton and Wigan all in the top 6 coming up plus crewe away who always cause us problems

I think grinding out that result today after the FA cup result really shows the potential we really have this season great to bounce back and hold on!.

Talk about a game of two halves. Someone from Mars would never in a million years have realised that we were promotion contenders in that first half. Far too many unforced errors, silly fouls given away etc. If we had been a couple down then that would not have been an unfair reflection. I know Otis says Taylor has been getting some unfair stick on here but he was really poor in the first half.
Second half we were transformed, far more composure at the back & finally showing some inventiveness & threat going forward. Cracking goal from Mantom & Sawyers' assist for the 2nd was sublime. Thought we were going to go on and get a 3rd but had to endure a nervy last few minutes though we did manage to run the clock down successfully in injury time. Great 3 points on a VERY cold south yorkshire night.

we will agree to disagree then chompmeister  i am just about to order our tickets for millwall on saturday. just hope i don't get arrested like i did in 1981. the coppers locked me in a cell with 2 millwall fans after the game. and we ended up swapping stories. they even took me for a beer in the priory after we were let out.and i managed to make page 6 in the e&s

Silly me.
My eyes didn't scan that far down the Sky Soccer app beyond Scottish League One out here in sunny Lanzarote.
My embarrassment is thankfully minimised since you unusually didn't start a new thread to make a comment.
Thanks again.
