I'm going for a lie down.

Blackpool are scoring for fun. Next week is going to be interesting.

Huge result.

Potentially some questions to answer regarding their goals but as I was not there I will leave that to those that attended to shed some light.

To lose Evans today must have given SOD a headache, the only icing on the cake would have been Sheffield United not picking up those three points.

Sheffield United did pick up 3 points, but they're still 12 points behind us

Crewe lost 4-3 at Swindon after being 3-1 up....that could easily be us

Important 3 points, and a chance for a bit of a rest before the next game.

A warm glow emanating from a south-easterly direction, as SkyBluesTalk goes into meltdown...

The releif! Needed those 3 goals! Last season in similar weather we capitulated 1-4 at home to Swindon.

I wonder if we will see CCFC721 on here again! Think they are better advised keeping any rivalries with lower league opposition - not sure Leicester are going to be worried about them any time soon.

Would of snapped your hands off for 3 points before the game especially with the late withdrawal of Evans.

Yes Bury got into the game but that's to be expected after all they were the home side.

we could easily end up losing our next 3 games against two teams on the up and one fighting for survival... Blackpool, Fleetwood, Doncaster

It will be difficult even to stay in the play off positions.....too many teams challenging for top spot..out of the top 5.....

I'm not sure whether some of our effeminate and weak minded weak willed fans on here have the staying power for it.....they could contribute to the team even losing more confidence

I don't know, the way we struggled to hold on to a 3-0 lead has exposed the omens of doubt again....maybe we are just pretenders having a fortunate run before the inevitable happens

I presume you have had time to post during the game because the Villa match doesn't start until 17.30 tonight.

I've only ever seen the Villa ground from the motorway....the closest I've been to seeing Villa play is Gary Shaw for Walsall

However, I might take a look at the game as seeing as Villa can't win...reminds me of our past

We've just won.

We've just won having had a big player snatched away at the 11th hour, presumably scuppering much preparation.

We've just taken 4 points from two of the pre-season promotion favourites, both away, in 5 days.

We have a 12 point gap on 7th.

We have a game in hand on 3rd, potentially establishing a 4 point gap.

It doesn't really get much better than this. I don't think supporting Walsall is for you (not that I believe you actually do).

Phew, phew and phew again.

Still an excellent three points, second in the table and now that much needed rest before we take on a rejuvenated Blackpool.

Perhaps winning this game will give us more confidence, not less.

Sign of a good side - winning ugly.
Take the 3 points and move on.
4pts from each pair of away games you'd take all season long

Just read Joe Masi in the E & S quote "Bradshaw waves to the crowd as he leaves the pitch" is he trying to wind us up, doesn`t he always wave then.

Yes maybe, hopefully, God Willing.

Are we playing better under O'Driscoll than Smith though?

Not sure he(??) would even be happy if our Won-Drawn-Lost stats were currently 26-0-0 with 8,000 goals scored and 0 conceded.!!

Still up, celebrating the fact that we have avoided relegation - and it's only the middle of January! Hic!
