I'm sat here refreshing the official Twitter feed and it would seem as if Cook has had about 5/6 good chances?!

Incidentally, (and I can't be bothered to do the stats) how many times have we been behind and had the round objects to then take the lead??? This team just doesn't know when it's beaten.

If this result stays. it will have been the most important 3 points of our season, and the good thing is we are now 8 points clear of 7th place. The dream lives on. Even without Deano!

In true Walsall tradition, you might equally say that we're now 20 points clear of the relegation zone!!!!!

Exactly what the doctor ordered. Yes Walsall, great news for Cook too.
I know a few of you are big fans of the win ratio so it's worth pointing out that John Ward has a win ratio of 100% at Walsall....

Fantastic, satisfying result after a difficult week.
So proud tonight; proud of the team, proud of the fans. Shouted my self hoarse for the first time in a while.....
If results like this continue please keep these guys in charge...continuity, consistency...its all there.
Always great to beat the Sloppies - I always say this after games against them but, just when you think their support can't get any quieter or less passionate, they beat their own record! Not even a bleet for 90 minutes! Terrible.

Do I get an intimation that you don't like Shrewsbury much? (I feel the same about Burnley, self obsessed, opinionated
scumbags, one an all, every supporter they have, thinks that they belong in the Premiership as a god-given right, after all, they have the Bob Lord stand!)

If only you'd re-phrased that to include "immense ball control" we would assume he was a medical freak !!

I hate cheating generally, even from our own players (sending off) -but crock ourtop scorerand all bets are off!!!
HUUUUUUUUGE result tonigh!
Lost our manager before the game and had our top scorer assassinated during it - and still came out with the win.
Just give us the championship now...
