4668 with 913 from Bradford. Embarrassing
It was utterly foul weather though, but I agree 3,500 is appalling, little wonder we can't afford another striker!

That's what happens when you start your best 11 and bring on subs who can see out games.

Ah good to know. I'm assuming you texted Mr. Smith prior to the match which is why you're reeling in the credit? Thanks for the league position by the by, you've clearly been instrumental in our success this season.

Re: Bradford City (H) League One, 28th Nov, 3pm
A massive 3 points, we were not as good as previous games but were clinical with our chances. So pleased Bradford gave us a 45 min head start as I'm not sure we would have even got a point if they had played the full 90 mins like they did in the 2nd half.
Just wanted to add I hate seeing Sawyers play so deep he is absolutely wasted in that roll.
Well done cook another £200 appearance money earned.
Not sure how Morris got MOTM as i thought he had a very quiet game, I'd have given it to Evans.
Lets get 3 points at Shrewsbury.

With a Saturday - Tuesday - Saturday - Tuesday - Saturday run, it is right to rotate a few players. It is a long season and we do have more strength in depth than for a few years.
In any case, the 11 that started on Tuesday should have won at a canter.

This wont be worth two dead flies if we don't get at least 4 points off of next two games, and really 6 points are needed....but we seem to keep losing and drawing against the next category of opponents.

Great great win that, I'm tempted to say best win of the season but guess Gillingham and the manner of that won't be surpassed until we get to March or April maybe.
Important today with Gills, Wigan and Coventry all dropping points, does Sallian take any notice of that? It always seems like one of the world's great disasters with his posts when Walsall dare not to win a game.

Bit lucky, but we deserved that given (a) the last two games and (b) that Bradders were dirty, hoofball northern fudge. If we finish above them though, we'll deffo be in the playoffs at least :D

Cracking result, without perhaps the performance to match.
Sign of a quality team when we ride our luck and see out games like that, despite the very physical nature Bradford turned it into with their mossive substitutes.
Can see why they've been tough to beat, bang average League One philosophy, which will work 60 to 70% of the time.
Three very good finishes, Bradford's probably the pick of them.
Not sure on MoM. Etheridge had one of his best games, full backs were good again.
Three points from Shropshire FC please, and we'll be right back amongst it.
P.S. Please practice free-kicks this week, and when we get one in the opponent's half actually look to make a chance from it, or to upgrade it to a corner. Thank you nicely.
P.P.S Is Bradford actually a city?

Re: Bradford City (H) League One, 28th Nov, 3pm
Bradford's initial game plan to close us down quickly failed miserably as we moved the ball around them superbly in the first half.
Our only real lapse being to give Hanson a free header that he should have buried.
Second half was different as Bradford started to play a bit more football, combined with us seemingly deciding not to bother contesting the high balls up to Hanson. He was allowed the time and space to dictate the direction of flick-ons, or to bring the ball down and lay it off. We must challenge properly for every ball, or we give easy impetus to the opposition.
Bradford as a consequence had a few chances, but not sufficient to feel unduly hard done by with the result.
On the whole we played some excellent football at times and looked a better side than them.
The timing of Morris's substitution was correct as he was starting to lose possession a few times, but I would have kept Lalkovic on as he was still offering a good outlet.
Fabulous ball from Sawyers for Lalkovic's goal, which he took really well.
To jump on the Cook criticism bandwagon, which is completely justified, it can be summed up by the potentially dangerous breakaway we had late on only for him to overrun the ball and give it to Bradford. Very poor.

A very good result but we weren't as good as we can be.....Lalkovic was my man of the match although again it was a good team performance. It made a change to win when not at our best rather than dropping the points when we are the best team. For those who didn't come and there were a lot of you the move for the second goal was superb and deserved to win the game.

Toughed it out today against a pretty good side (I thought)..
Played some really good stuff and a superb thru ball from Romaine to Milan for the 2nd goal but had to scrap at the end - just what we needed after the last 2 games
Just one moan tho - what a poor crowd today! I know the weather was awful and it's the run-up to crimbo etc but quite honestly, around 3600 home fans with our team in this position is dire...
They deserve much better
Looking fwd to Tuesday :)
