Possession 63% to 37%.
Shots 5-2
Corners 4-1.
Hopefully it's just a matter of being patient.

Barnsley 2 Gillingham 0 now - have the Gills blown up?
Half-time and it's 1-1 at Bescot - what should Deano do for the second half??

Don't know why we are all fretting, everyone knows that Wigan & Sheff United will go up in the auto places, They have the money which buys success! Leaving the rest of us to battle in out in the play off's.

Re: Crewe Alexandra (H) League One 26th Sept, 3pm
Chesterfield 1 Burton Albion 1 (which drops us to 2nd)
Today's attendance 4,229
Bradford City 0 Peterborough Utd 1 (Edit - 0-2 now)
Millwall 3 Rochdale 1 now
Fleetwood 1 Port Fail 1
Bury 2 Coventry City 1
Hate to say it, but with all our superiority in terms of possession, shots, corners etc., this is still a game we could easily lose....

Crewe seem to be coming into this game a bit more. May be a few subs are called for.

Oh well frustrating result today! At least we took something from the game, Tuesday night is now a must win! Really should be winning games like that though. Still UTS!

...and a very late goal at Chesterfield puts us 3 points behind Burton Albion !!! (But we're still 10 points clear of the bottom 4...)

Re: Crewe Alexandra (H) League One 26th Sept, 3pm
Not good enough, although looks like they were trying to score at least...
Two consecutive missed opportunities to get established in pole position...Should have beaten Gillingham and Crewe, looks like the goals are drying up after a bright goalscoring start to the season
I don't know what is happening with the formation, but have two central strikers been abandoned for the old one isolated up front shackles of last season?
I really did expect the likes of Lalkovic, Cook, Morris, Baxendale to be scoring this season....what is happening with Bakayoko? Shouldn't we be trying to get him scoring in the first team? If he has some pace and drive then maybe it what is needed to give some added potency.
It seems like other teams haven't got their act together yet, we might drop rapidly if they do....we should be taking advantage of the current weakness in the division and we are beginning to balls it up.

on the positive side, we still have the second best defence in the division (in terms of goals against)
and the fourth best attack (goals for)

But back to the negative side...we have only won one of our last four games.... 1 in 6 if you include the cups

We never beat Crewe, I was half expecting to lose today. Sounded frustrating and not a poor show anyway. Roll on Wigan get a few up there and support the lads. Another gash home attendance of under 4,000.
