Smith has got to go soon or else we will be relegated at this rate, the football is the least entertaining football I have seen in a Walsall team. The players have the quality and under a good manager then we'd be up there... Frustrating!

Is Smith trying to ruin Hiwula too?
Forde may be injured by one has to question Smith's insistence on playing non-wingers in winger positions. Why do we only have two wingers at the club?
Cook is not even a very good winger. Someone said he puts in a nice cross; only when he manages to beat the first man. From what I have seen of him this season he has been absolutely crap. Can't beat his man, can't cross the ball, can't tackle, doesn't track back. Crap.
Oh well.

Errrrr.... three shots on target, all in the first 18 minutes, from Taylor, Jordy Hiwula and Cook. Do keep up.....
2 from free kicks that rolled tamely at the keeper and I don't recall the 3rd.
1 shot from open play in 70mins vs a bottom four side at home.

Now we really DO have to look over our shoulders, 5 points clear of the relegation zone!
I hate this, what is happening to our team? This lot were second from bottom for clips sake.

5 points of the bottom... If we'd have got 4 points from the last two we'd be in with a great chance of the play offs instead we have to battle to stay up!

Obviously, we have been distracted by Wembley.

Sleep walking towards relegation.
It smells distinctly like another Smith winless streak. Unlike last season though, we haven't quite got the points on the board to keep us safe this time.
Only 8 teams below us now. We've played six of those at home and we've drawn one and lost five. Scored one and conceded eleven in the process. Absolutely shocking.

But a good manager would keep them focused on the league.
How's Bristol city's record since they made it to Wembley?? Bet it's nothing like ours

Not sure exactly when they qualified, but up until today they had won 2 and lost 2 of their previous 4 games.
"It's a funny old game"....We won at Colchester, and Bristol City lost against Colchester. Go figure, as our American cousins would say!! :D

3 wins from 14 remaining games will most likely see us safe. What does it say on the cover of the Hitchhikers Guide?

the Wembley appearance is seeming more and more like the inevitable turn of the law of averages rather than any deserved achievement of skill and strategy

Hopefully it doesn't say "we only won two in the last twenty last year, so we have it in us to win less than three in fourteen".

Not sure where you got the 3 shots on target from...I was at the game and saw 2 from free kicks in the first half, and that's what WM reported after the final whistle. Do keep up.
As others have said - this is looking worryingly like one of Smiths winless streaks, not sure where the next goal or win is coming from, no creativity, lifeless, slow, sideways football with a handful of woeful individual performances thrown in to the mix.
Good old roll the dice Dean mediocre Smith.
But Wembley ay it and we're making progress ay it?
And a word for WM who keep banging on about this so called "playoff push"...wtf are they on about? Play off push? More chance of Elton John announcing he's straight again that we have of finishing within 5 places of the playoffs.

Stop fretting Phil You know well enough that we will win 15 draw 15 and lose 15 - the only uncertainty is which way the dice will roll for the 46th game. So, at least 60 points which will be good enough for a nice mid table finish :)
