So happy. What a fantastic night. Great to see a full stadium too

With 9,131 Saddlers in attendance I'm pretty confident in saying that it's the highest 'home' crowd at the Banks's since it opened.

We scored zero goals last night - surely a trigger for Sallian to give us the lowdown on football tactics to address that problem? :D

Sshhhhh, should he slip clear of his carers, and take an overdose of his medication, he'll be back on here ranting about how we went about the replay all wrong, and how it 'should' have been done!!

Love your avatar, we should wear that shirt, one of the best we ever used, for the Wembley final, if we can beat Reading at the Millenium, we can beat Brizzle City at Wembley!!

Come on me babbies lets do it!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

Lots of very happy Worsul fans on here, but none as happy as this old git, gonna have to break into some of my savings to pay for the event I have waited for all these long years!!

I had to smile at one of the comments on the pne-online forum......among the 54 pages of mostly cheesed-off supporters there was this gem referring to Kevin Davies, along the lines of: "Couldn't trap a bag of cement, awful with his back to goal, ship him out at the end of the season, anywhere, coaching, give him anything but a number".

Feeling your pain on the airfare situation. Looking at just over 800 quid out of the US unless I want to do a 28 hour layover in Istanbul or some place in Sweden that I have never heard of..... At least I have hotel nailed down.....

Seems to be worse if you're flying from New Zealand.

I am just looking at flights at the moment, can't decide whether to go or not. It will only be 3 weeks after I will have been in the UK. (Chinese New Year holidays.) I'll see us play Vale, Preston and Bradford. That's the sort of thing I signed up for 54 years ago, not the glory of going to the new Wembley...

Will we be back there in May? You never know.

Should I stay or should I go?

All advice gratefully received.

Wow - that's unfortunate timing - I'd be very tempted to add three weeks to my hols if I were you.

Go. You'll regret it if you don't.

$2300 ex auckland on Qantas, connectors to wine country bring my flight costs up to around $2550-2700 all in (might fly into Brum and out of LHR using an emirates combo). At least I got accommodation for nothing (one night with the olds, one with a mate). Long way for a weekend, but needs must.

Total time in UK: 55 hours
Total time in air: 63 hours
Total time at Wembley: all my football life waiting.

Its taken me two days to calm down and be able to post.Didnt sleep at all Monday or Tuesday night!
Firstly thank you Dean and Richard for making my dream come true. Ive been watching the Saddlers for 40 years and did wonder if I would ever have the joy of seeing them step out at Wembley.
Deano set out the team perfectly and they were all immense. Special mention to the Chambers twins, two nicer people would be hard to find and they were both superb.
My Player over the two legs and indeed the season has to be Richard O'Donnell, he has grown in stature and confidence this season and is easily our most consistent performer.
It was a nerve wracking 90 plus minutes that seemed to go very slowly.Im sure that clock never moved at times!
The fans were superb, even if half of them around me I had never seen before;)
Lets all enjoy our day out - finally thinking of all the Saddlers, my Grandad and Dad amongst them who never made it to Wembley.
We are the lucky generation who get to see the dream come true - come March 22nd lets be loud and proud.

Of course you should go.
I know a very reasonably-priced luxury hotel near Wembley.

Just watched Brizzle v Gills and, judging by that game, we have NOTHING to fear at Wembley. Bristol will lose one of their most influential "big guys who can play" (Matt Smith) and as for their other big fella (Emmanuel-Thomas) - well, we'll just have to deal with him. He's good and almost impossible to get off the ball, but he isn't quite so potent in the air as Smith. Of course, they're a good team - you don't go top of the league by being rubbish - but I'd put us as a better footballing team, if not quite so clinically effective in the penalty area. However, the open spaces of Wembley might suit us, so I reckon we have every chance: it's up for grabs and if we did it, well, words fail me. Whatever happens it'll be a great day out, to rival that great day at the Millennium Stadium, when we beat the odds and Reading to enter Nirvanah, even if for a relatively brief sojourn. And, you never know, this might, just might, kick-start our season as the players start to think "What's nicer than being at Wembley? Being at Wembley TWICE!"
