Liked the way Bradshaw nutmegged two players to get the ball to Cain.

There are over a dozen mediocre teams in League One this season.

Two of these mediocre teams will get in the playoffs.

On current form we're actually one of the better mediocre teams.

I've heard it from an insider that Dean Smith has a plan "B" in case he can reverse our home form.
In that event, he's arranged to have the bogs blocked up so Phil can leave the ground happy in the knowledge that he still has something to complain about.

Was really pleased with this result, especially as I work with a U's fan! :D

However, I shall just look downcast and tell him how mediocre we are at recording another oh-so mundane and predictable away win. :|

And how life doesn't really mean much anyway, if you take into account the trillions of stars and billions galaxies that are floating around the universe. :(

In fact I won't go into work today and curl up in a ball sobbing quietly to myself until I need the toilet. :x

Bradshaw has not scored for two games. Smith is ruining him. Smithout!

Good win though.

I heard he had a phone call from a Championship club which went along the lines of - "Tom, the directors asked me to let you know they would be happy if you didn't score any goals for the next few weeks...."

Just joking folks.

Good result, bad result, good result, bad result...ad nauseam

Someone did point out last season that win-lose-win-lose gets you more points than grinding out draws and losing sometimes, like we have done on occasions in the past. Where does 72 points leave you at the end of the season?? :?:
Ay it interestin' followin' Worsul? :?

Dean Smith isn't capable of managing a team to 23 league wins in a season, he's proved that 3 times.

What he is capable of is being mediocre and achieving about 12 wins, 12 draws and 12 defeats, giving a total of 48 points, enough to avoid relegation, but nothing more.

Well done Dean!!

If only we had you at the helm Phil to show the football managerial world how it's done.

Surprised you bother with such a morbid type of support, you strike me as someone who is a hermit and self harms

Someone mentioned on here that when they read Phil's posts they 'hear' them as though Inspector Blakey from On the Buses was speaking.

I'll go further: I bet he looks like him too!

Phil, the only reason I can see for someone such as you being at the match is if you are a carer for someone. Why else would anyone put themselves through all this negative emotional pain if they didn't have too?

Cue the Psychiatrists

Ad nauseam, Latin for a subject/discussion that has been done to death and is a little tiresome.
Fitting that philthedingle quotes this?

Good - no coincidence that he went off, Purkiss went to right back and we kept a cleansheet again. He's very ropey, gets dragged out of position and is woefully exposed on the counter attack when he's been up the pitch. Back up until May and then released I think.
