I've heard it from an insider that Dean Smith has a plan "B" in case he can reverse our home form.
In that event, he's arranged to have the bogs blocked up so Phil can leave the ground happy in the knowledge that he still has something to complain about.

Someone did point out last season that win-lose-win-lose gets you more points than grinding out draws and losing sometimes, like we have done on occasions in the past. Where does 72 points leave you at the end of the season?? :?:

Dean Smith isn't capable of managing a team to 23 league wins in a season, he's proved that 3 times.

What he is capable of is being mediocre and achieving about 12 wins, 12 draws and 12 defeats, giving a total of 48 points, enough to avoid relegation, but nothing more.

Good - no coincidence that he went off, Purkiss went to right back and we kept a cleansheet again. He's very ropey, gets dragged out of position and is woefully exposed on the counter attack when he's been up the pitch. Back up until May and then released I think.
