Coventry have been quite cack on the road this season but picked up a few wins away recently.
However i think we will absolutely smash them 1-0.

I'd take us to win:
1 - 0
2 - 0
3 - 0
2 - 1
3 - 2
3 - 1
4 - 0
Er, I'm sure you get the picture

A top six place beckons and its not often we get to such heady heights , a sort of local derby as well , so of course the good people of Walsall will turn out in there thousands to cheer on Dean Smith's Aces to victory.

A 1-1 draw, with Sawyers for us, in front of 5,754, including 2,082 Sky Blues.

Re: Coventry (H) League One, 3rd Jan 3pm
Thanks to Exile for starting the thread - I won't go into the mire of Coventry City's rent/stadium/Sixfields history as it's all too well known. As far as League One performance is concerned Coventry are currently 5 places and 4 points below us in the table, having scored 1 more goal than we have, but at the same time conceding 9 more. League One away form is "iffy" - they've managed 2 wins (at Colchester and Port Vale) from their 11 away games. Recent form:
29 Nov Walsall (H) Drew 0-0
10 Dec Bristol City (A) Lost 2-0 (F.L. Trophy)
13 Dec Port Vale (A) Won 0-2
20 Dec Fleetwood (H) Drew 1-1
26 Dec Doncaster Rovers (A) Lost 2-0
28 Dec Chesterfield (H) Drew 0-0
Coventry's difficulties in finding the net are apparent when you consider that their top goalscorer is defender Johnson, with 5 to his name. They do have on-loan strikers Gary Madine and Frank Nouble to watch out for, but in light of our recent goal-scoring achievements I think it's not unreasonable to anticipate three points from this game, and I'll go for a 2-0 home win, with goals from Tom Bradshaw (of course) and Michael Cain.

With most of the league one original fixtures not being played. A win could see us in 6th spot!!

It will if we win and either Fleetwood don't, or win by a lesser margin.
With that said, I'll go for a 1-0 defeat. We never take chances like that.

I agree.0-3
Bonser to step in as caretaker manager when Smith mysteriously calls in "Sick". A strange looking team selection to include half the youth team plus Baxendale in goal.
Mid table mediocrity maintained.

Tudgay header smacks the Walsall crossbar.....I guess he's upset about not scoring from the spot!

Re: Coventry (H) League One, 3rd Jan 3pm
Worth throwing substitutes into the fray???
Also, Derby County are holding the mighty Southport 0-0 at half-time. Bakayoko and Roberts both on the bench.
Plus (just as a "by the way"), is Jordan Cooke injured? Not playing, and not on the bench either. :?

Like you, I'm not there, but I'd give it 15 minutes before any changes.

Elsewhere in League One, we have Fleetwood 2 Swindon Town 0
and Port Vale 1 Gillingham 1
....and now Cain hits the other post !!! It's going to be one of those days, I'm afraid.
