Swindon Town (H) League One Fri 26 Dec, 3pm
We welcome high-flying Swindon Town on Boxing Day - they're currently 3rd in the table, and would be clear at the top if they hadn't managed to lose at home to Doncaster Rovers last week-end. Their goal difference is an impressive +18, and two players (Smith and Williams) have both scored 11 goals so far this season. Out of 10 away League One games their record is a very creditable 6 wins, 2 draws, and only 2 defeats (at Crawley and MK Dons). Most recent form:
8 Nov Cheltenham Town (A) Lost 5-0 (F.A. Cup 1st round)
15 Nov Bristol City (H) Won 1-0
22 Nov Peterborough United (A) Won 1-2
29 Nov Fleetwood Town (H) Won 1-0
13 Dec Notts County (A) Won 0-3
20 Dec Doncaster Rovers (H) Lost 0-1
Swindon's most pressing problem would appear to be their financial situation, which may or may not influence their playing side. The latest court case concerning the club comes up on January 5th - the Borough Council (who own the ground) are claiming £50,000 in rent owed. The rent for their stadium is quoted as £17,000 per month.
There don't seem to be any massive problems in team selection for either side. We have got the extension to Cain's loan from Leicester City , but Sam Mantom's knee injury is reported to be keeping him out until next month. Swindon's two Asian Cup players called up for Australia and Iraq will be available for this game (Luongo and Kasim).
Swindon have been known to adopt a fairly aggressive style of play (the brothers Thompson have both been red-carded this season) and they were fined £5,500 earlier this season by the F.A. after a fracas at Leyton Orient, but if we can keep our heads we should be able to shade this one. 1-0 will do me, and I don't mind who scores. :D

Not sure about this one but it will probably be 0-0 at HT.
I'll go for 2-0 to us with Bradshaw and Cook scoring. 6642 in attendance including Cully in his new lucky Christmas jumper.

I think both teams would settle for a draw in this one.But a last minute penalty would be nice.

Early goals at Leyton Orient and Doncaster as well. Too much Christmas Pud.
Crawley now equalised with Leyton Orient.
And the Doncaster goal scored by.... Andy Butler!

Fleetwood 0 Bradford City 1
If we could score just 1 goal, we would be up to 11th place, only 3 points from the play- offs.....(dream on!!) :D
A spate of Swindon corners as we approach half-time.
Blades down to 10 men at Port Vale
