Welsh is sunning himself in Spain so here's the thread. Can't be arsed with the form - you can look it up for yourselves.

Good luck to all those that go tomorrow to watch SMITHOUT's team play the SMITHOUT way and I hope you enjoy your day out with a very rare exciting and successful game culminating in at least one goal in our favour. Win lose or draw..........it's all the same to SMITHOUT.

Re: Fleetwood away
Play like we did on Tuesday and it's the safest home banker on the coupons....come to think of it, it's the safest home banker on the coupons anyway!
Even our hard fought 'win' at Notts County has been debased by their FA Cup knockout at the mighty Accrington Stanley (At least THEY are still in the FA Cup! :? )
Will be there, screaming for some forward passes? Please Saddlers, cheer us all up with at least more than two attempts on goal?

Re: Fleetwood away
One part of my brain tells me it will be like Rochdale, the other says Notts County. I've come over to stay at my father's in Kendal so I can get to this, so will go for a very surprising 2-0 win. Mrs Hull Saddler spent her first 18 years, 2 miles from Fleetwood ("a dump") but is sadly not tempted. I think she is unwilling to put her 100% win record at risk ( 41 years of marriage = games attended 1 -wins 1)

Re: Fleetwood away
Walsall to play well and undeservedly lose. We will be the better team, with the better chances. Grimes will have been unlucky with the shot from inside the area that hit the corner flag. The winning Fleetwood goal shouldn't have counted due to there being a foul committed 15 minutes previously. We will reflect on the performance and be ready to go again next week.

Another 1-0 defeat in front of 2,759, including 220 Saddlers.

Don't you just love it when we lose the first game for a while. The Glass Half Empty lot come streaming out with thoughts of doom and gloom.
Me? I'm loving life. I am confident, I am busy, I find the games more entertaining than some of the hoofball in the past but more than that I am Optimistic.
I think a nice away win for the Saddlers.

Congratulations, I can't tell from reading your post whether you are on drugs or just delusional but enjoy the comedown. I base my opinion on factual experiences, observation and the last three years results, unlike you, I do not love it when we lose, I am............ realistic
I'm also here all day :D

Re: Fleetwood away
Grimes and Bax in for Manset and Forde.
Had a dream the other day where Bax scored a screamer (even though he's Flat Stanley in disguise). On that, a 1-1 draw with Bax's screamer curling across the back of the net on 83 mins.

The team...
O'Donnell; Purkiss, J.Chambers, Downing, Taylor; A.Chambers ©, Cain; Cook, Sawyers, Baxendale; Grimes Sus MacGillivray; O'Connor; Forde, Flanagan, Morris, Clifford; Manset
Grimes to score at the massive odds of 2/1 to score at any time

. It's a size one with Bax standing next to it. You can't really see him with the way the site is displaying the picture :|Cully wrote:TheSwift wrote:Here's Bax warming up.

Dean Smith on WM preview of games said that 'we've been magnificent in our last three away games and are looking to continue that form today'

Re: Fleetwood away
Procession 45/55 to Walsall 2 shots each and one corner each so far. Fairly even according to WM O'Donnel makes a good save and Jordan Cook falls over after beating two players and in on goal.
Promising?

Afternoon Cully. No, I've struggled this year as I am working most Saturdays. Had the bright idea to buy some presses last year which has proved a bit of a challenge to get up to speed. Still, all that extra tax from the inevitable fat bonus will help the Chancellor next year. Lets just hope it's not Ed Balls, eh. :D
