Think it's horses for courses. His height is very useful when we play a side who like to put a big man on the back stick, but if he's up against a tricky sprinter then you're right the others would fair better but on the whole I think Purkiss is a better right-back than O'connor. To be fair, O'connor did well at centre-half a few weeks ago (Colchester?).
