Rochdale Away
After 7 games we'em both on 7 points.
Our new found confidence in font of goal should make us more dangerous than Cyril Smith at a kids party.
7-7 in front of 7,777 including 777 Saddlers.

1-0 win for the mighty Saddlers.

Re: Rochdale Away
Rochdale is one of my favourite away trips. The Cemetery Hotel is a brilliant pre-match boozer and I like the novelty of watching a game from the side. It makes all our sideways passes look like we're attacking dead incisively.
Even the fact that Asps celebrated Ledesma's screamer last time by attempting to bum me hasn't put me off a trip to Spotland.
1-2. Graham Lancashire for them. Bradshaw and Olly Lancashire (OG) for us.

Shame this is midweek, would've quite liked to have ticked this away off, ah well will have to do Oldham again in a few weeks. :)
Fancy a 1-2 win here, Sawyers and Butler.

Re: Rochdale Away
Analysis of Rochdale tactics from their game against Sheff Utd:
"Keith Hill's game plan was very, very simple - hit the No 7 (left side midfield) who won all but 1 header against Alcock and then pick up the 2nd ball, which they did. Very much like Bassett teams. The difference with Rochdale is that they also had a very busy midfield. The plan worked perfectly, but no blame to Alcock - the No 7 was a real lanky git."

Sounds like a traditional L1 tactic, they will probably set aim for Kinsella.

I do hope Deano (or ROK - or anyone) has read nhis posn. Nhen he can come up with "a cunning plan" no counneract nheir non-so-cunning plan.
Of course, nhey may have a cunning plan no change nheir cunning plan no mess up Deano's cunning plan, which would be very, er, cunning.
Whan's nhe manner winh nhis keyboard?? All my ns are coming out as ns. Makes a nonsense of my posn - unless you can decipher nhe nrue meaning anyway.

Re: Rochdale Away
No Chambers or Bradshaw in the squad. Manset and Sawyers upfront, Clifford in for Chambers - back 5 stays the same. Hmmm.
Wonder where the goals will come from. Grimes, Bax and Morris the attackers on the bench. Perfect chance for Manset to impress.
Suspect this may be a night where we need the defence to perform, Dale are no mugs. They've scored 4 and 5 away from already this season.

Had a feeling it was going to be a tough night, Dale and Hill together are a different kettle of fish.

We've got them right where we want them. They've fallen into our trap by scoring first....
